    Right fit for a boat cut jeanI'm six foot 240 lbs with a muscular build. I wanted a boot cut jean. Ordered a relax fit retro which the wash was correct but the legs were way to baggy for a boot cut. So I ordered the George Strait. The leg cut is perfect over the boot, not to baggy. Waist is a little forgiving and rides right. Material is thicker than most with a one year warranty and you can tell by the quality that these will last. I better order another pair before they get outsourced and change quality.5Goodbye red tabs!I love this cut of Wranglers because I'm 6'4", but I don't fit into the "big" category because I've got broad shoulders, broad hips and nice legs. Everything I try on in the stores for someone my height, fits like a set of clown pants in the legs.This cut is long, big enough to fit at my natural waist and fits snugly in the legs like jeans should. These also aren't made of the stretchy sissy denim that's become so popular, these are the real deal for people that wear jeans that have to last.5Heavyweight jeans that are very comfortable and a nice boot cutI ve been a Wrangler fan both for jeans and denim jackets for many years, but this is the first time for the George Strait Cowboy Cut Original Fit Jean. It s the best fit and the most comfortable jean I have purchased. It s a heavyweight denim, but nicely broken in so that it feels soft and comfortable right out of the package. The leg openings fit nicely over my Ariat cowboy boots and they are loose enough in the thighs and crotch area for working outside, bending, squatting, kneeling or sitting on the tractor. These are great jeans. I am very happy with them and at the time I purchased them I noticed the Amazon price was actually cheaper than the price on the Wrangler website.5Wrangler George Strait Jeans Short of ExpectationsI've been buying the Wrangler George Strait jeans for years and never really had an issue. This is only the second time though of buying the Original Fit jean. I thought maybe the first pair of this style I purchased a year ago might have been a fluke but not the case. The front pockets in these jeans are not deep enough for my taste. If Wrangler would use the same pocket depth as the Relaxed Fit jean then these would be fantastic jeans and for that I only give 3 stars. In addition, I bought four pair so now I have to send four pair back.I wish that the George Strait Relaxed Fit would come in the darker blue but for some reason they only come in the stone washed blue...I guess I'll just have to learn to live with that.3Best Jean AvailableThe George Strait collection from Wrangler is the best jean period! There are other good jeans at twice the price (or more) but even they don't deliver the quality & fit that these Wrangler Jeans do. I have been buying the George Strait collection for several years & have found the fit, comfort & quality to be consistent. Whatever size the jean says it is, that is what it is! Considering what you get, this is probably one of the best values in jeans to be found. Highly recommend.5Very comfortable.I always wore Levis loose fit jeans for years. I chose them because they were the most comfortable to me in the seat and legs. My wife always complained about them though, saying they looked baggy on me. Finally decided to try these George Straight Cowboy Cut Original Fit jeans (40 X 36). I love them. They fit me better and are more comfortable then the Levis, and even though they don't feel restricted in the seat and legs, they don't look baggy either. I'm a new fan.5Great jeansI realize everyone is different, but these jeans fit "me" perfectly. I've found that where the jeans sit on my waist is exactly where I expect, unlike most Levi's which tend to sit a little lower on the waist (which often feel like they are on the verge of falling off). My build is very similar to the picture illustrating these jeans. The length (which may be longer with other jeans) fits just over the top of my sneakers, so they never become frazzled at the bottom, even barefoot. Of course, it really depends on the length you specify.These have become my all time favorite!5Pockets Didnt LastThese are my second pair. The first pair are still great. I wear these pants maybe once a week for Jeans Day Friday at an Office Job. The only things that end up in my pockets are my phone and keys. The front pockets had holes (that a quarter can fit through) in the corner seam after a few WEEKS. The first pair, after ~2 years, are still going strong. 50/50 is not what I was expecting for what I call expensive jeans. My $22 wranglers are holding up fine after years. Everything else about the jeans are great/comfortable but I will think twice about buying again when it comes time.2comfortable. THESE ARE THE BEST JEANS!!5These jeans are hands down better than Levi'sThese jeans are hands down better than Levi's. They have more belt loops and fit better in the seat than 505's. The back pockets are a little smaller and are more towards the hip than the 505's or the cheaper Wranglers. This prevents you from sitting on your wallet. Very comfortable! I am phasing out all of my Levi's and replacing them with these jeans.5
