Pretty cool shirtsThe product description warns to buy larger, so I did. My size could be considered large or XL depending upon the product, but Hawaiian shirts like this are usually loose-fitting to begin with, so I often go large. In this case, I followed the advice in the description. They don't run too small, but I wouldn't argue that as an XL, this isn't quite as big as other XLs I have. The material (terivoile) is new to me, and is very interesting. The colours are brilliant. Worth a purchase, in my opinion.5Good Shirt, Would Like to See Sizes Above XLIn an XL this shirt fits about the same as a La Leela Hawaiian shirt. The largest they had in stock at the time of purchase was XL, which isn't as voluminous on me as I'd like, but the La Leelas behave the same way. I usually get XXL in Hawaiian shirts to get a little more room, but they didn't have this shirt available in XXL. When they say measure from armpit to armpit to get your size, do it on an airy shirt from your closet. My actual armpit to armpit size across my chest is only 20 inches or so, but my usual Hawaiian shirt size is about 43-45 inches measured in this way, which makes the sizing chart they provide to the left of the shirt picture very strange to use. If I had used my actual measurements, I would have had to order the small, which I knew had to be wrong, so use an actual shirt to measure. My normal shirt size is XXL for all my western and cotton shirts, just to give you an idea of what the sizing is like on these. Obviously at XL, the sizing is somewhat generous, or else, I couldn't wear it. The material is a lot like terivoil, which is a specially woven nylon that La Leela makes their beautifully silky shirts from, and the colors in it are as good as I could have hoped for with the reds, greens, yellows, blues, it will match just about any swimsuit color you have. The length comes down to about mid-placket on your fly, so there would be a bit of reveal of your swimsuit, so it you count on a Hawaiian shirt to cover you there, this shirt may not be for you. Though it seems to be made from scraps, the shirt's build quality is very nice with tangerine-colored buttons that are about the same size and thickness as found on La Leela shirts and the collar lays correctly. I keep going back to La Leela for comparisons because this shirt most closely resembles them and La Leela brand shirts are excellent for their breathable, color-fast fabric with excellent cuts, fit and finish along with marvelous patterns. This shirt resembles that build quality and cut quite nicely, though I think La Leela shirts are an inch or two longer. I was complimented for wearing this shirt to work one day, so it's a head turner. At this price, I don't think you can go wrong.5Looked and fit great!My husband isn't a super clothing loving man. He likes cheap and destroys his clothes almost immediately. However, he loved this top. It fit really well and was great color. Didn't bleed when washed. I read the reviews and section a 10x. I have lots of room. Especially in the hips, which was very important because I will be wearing the shirt like a tunic. I know I could ve gone a size smaller and still be happy. The shirt looks awesome with leggings. The reviews on material are spot on. Very thin rayon but not see through. Colors are amazing. Sleeves are just below my elbow and very roomy. Hiding my fat flabby upper arms. What is very unexpected is that the wrinkles come out of them quickly. I can put them in luggage and hang it up and in just a little time, the wrinkles are gone. I immediately returned it and didn't even bother to try again.1Comfortable, LOUD shirt with good fitThe need for loud Hawaiian shirts is met!Whenever I wear this (or similar shirts form the same manufacturer in different intense colors), people always ask me where I got it. They are memorable, fun shirts that feed the need.The fit is good, the pattern on the pocket is matched to the pattern on the body of the shirt, and it is very comfortable. The downsides are primarily that the cloth is very, very lightweight... good for comfort in hot weather, but it's a bit fragile and easily torn. If you need a rugged shirt you'll want to go with one of the 100% cotton shirts that tend to cost 2-3 times as much. There are also a few stray dangling threads in the seam stitching; just trim them and you're fine.I have several shirts in different garish colors from this manufacturer, and will get more as new patterns are created to assault innocent eyeballs.4
