Kids Love it!Gave a yellow and red one to my friend's baby girl and toddler boy and they absolutely LOVE wearing them when playing outside, taking a walk, and playing at the beach. The material is soft but durable. Hat can literally be stuffed in a bag but then go back to its shape. The strap has a safety release on one side so there's no risk of choking; the strap stays connected on the other side so you don't have to worry about losing it. The easy adjustment around the head makes for a comfortable secure fit for the child that ACTUALLY keeps the sun out of their eyes. It has worked great for the baby, even when she is in a backpack carrier. The toddler loves wearing his any time he's outside and at the beach when playing in the sand. It can get wet and will dry just fine.5Good hat, after easy adjustmentGot this nice hat for my wife, actually. No, not a child bride. Just happens that she has a small head for an adult. It's very hard to find a hat in her size, which is a bit smaller than the smallest official adult size. Her hats, when she can find any, come from the kids' rack. This one luckily has n size-adjustment band, so when it surprisingly turned out to have a larger-than-expected crown, she could compensate for that. Now the hat fits comfortably around her forehead though the crown still looks about a half-inch too big for her all around. Otherwise, this is a nice, well-made hat for the price.4JUST BUY THEM, THEY ARE GREAT!!!!I now own about 13 of these hats. I have a home child care center and I started purchasing these hats because my other water hats were getting floppy and covering the children's eyes when they got wet. These hold there shape. I just lay them flat after laundering them on gentle/handwash cycle. I ordered 2-8 years and they accidentally sent me 0-6m. I almost sent them back and then decided to just try them on my 2.5 year olds and they fit perfectly. I own one size 2-8 and that one has to be adjusted for the preschoolers. The back is easy to adjust while the hat is already on, they are perfect. I own a bunch in the 8-14 year size and they will fit any age child. They have a wide brim perfect for blocking the sun. I love having all the same color, it makes it so easy to count 9 heads very fast, which teachers have to do in a crowd constantly.5Perfect Hat for KidsThis is a great hat for kids. I'm certain it could fit some adults with slightly smaller heads as well :)The design is great (adjustable strap, breathable mesh on sides, good coverage, waterproof, etc.) and I appreciate that there are no childish designs on this hat. I'm hoping this hat will grow with my kids. I'm sure it will get lots of use in the years to come. This hat is a bit pricier than others on Amazon but I rather spend a little more to get something with a bit more longevity built into the design.I purchased both the blue and pink hats in size 8-14. My kids are 4 and 7; the hats fit them both perfectly when adjusted. This is also helpful if your kids have changing hairstyles that may add bulk that a non-adjustable hat would not be able to accomodate.5She'll thank me when she's 30My daughter is 3.5 and this hat fit her perfectly thanks to the adjustment piece that tightens behind the crown of the head. She was able to swim with the hat on in the pool and in the ocean. The brim was large enough to cast enough shade over her face and neck without getting in the way or flopping in her face after being submerged from her underwater swimming . I really appreciated the breakaway chin strap when there was too much tension, it gave me piece of mind but didn't easily come undone at least so far. I used this hat for a 10 day beach vacation and it held up well. It had a sweat band on the inside brim, venting on the side. I think it's hard to find a good sun hat for kids her age that look decent but still are functional so I was happy with the hat, let's see how it holds up over time.5The ONLY hat you'll really need!This hate is AMAZING in so many ways. First of all, a hat that can truly grow with your child is just wonderful. It's lightweight and breathes nicely. My son's head gets a little sweaty where it cinches, but otherwise it's comfortable. It provides maximum coverage for the face, ears, and neck. The cinch around the head provides a perfect fit for little noggins and the chin strap keeps it in place. My kiddo never complains about having this hat on.If your child is going through the hat pulling phase, note that the chin strap just snap off on one side if they pull hard enough.5Perfect coverage from the sunPerfect coverage from the sun. The brim is strong and doesn't flip over even from a bit of wind. Second one on its way! I love it.5Perfect little sun hatExactly what I was looking for in a water friendly sun hat. Lightweight, the brim stays sturdy when wet, provides great coverage, and the adjustability is great. Once tightened, my baby can't get it off so she gives up and forgets about it. The brim ripples a little in the back when the head is adjusted to the smaller end, but this does not affect the coverage or visibility.5Cute color, waterproof, but weird shape and fitIt s a cute hat, I like that it s adjustable for multiple ages and head sizes and waterproof. The reason I m not giving it 5 stars is that fits weirdly on my daughter s head, it just looks strange with the band tightented for her (she s 4yo). She also tells me it s not that comfy and usually refuses to wear it (she hasn t minded other hats in the past). Also, the string ripped in the spot where it s sewn to the plastic part almost right away and I had to fix it. I wish I spent the extra $10-$15 and gone with the brand I know I like.3
