    Size 7 Fits super lean 5 yr oldI bought 4 Speedos before we settled on this one. My 5 year old daughter is as tall as a 6-7 year old (about 45 ) with the waist of a 3-4 year old (40lb). All the other style Speedos I tried between size 6, 6x and 7 we either too baggy around the chest or groin or too small down the torso. The size 7 speedo in this style covered all the necessary girl parts, even though it still fits a little loose. It was the closest one-piece I could find that fit her so it gets 5 star for that.5Great Speedo quality! Washes well and looks new after MANY usesSecond one of these I have bought my daughter.She loves it!Pros:-comfortable-durable- has been worn many many times at beaches, pools, etc and looks new after months of constant use(each one I ve purchased)-washes well and it s been washed after every single use-stays on well with diving, cannonballs, etc and my child feels it covers everything well5Just what we were looking forWe were in need of a one piece for my 10 year old daughter for swim tryouts. She is approximately 4'8 and 79 pounds with a long torso. I ordered this in a size 14 and I think it fits very well. My daughter thinks it is too tight but this is supposed to be a tight suit which she's not used to, so I don't think that's a flaw of the suit. It's not like she can't move or bend in it, there's plenty of flexibility. If she makes the team, I might get the bigger size for practices just to see how it fits (I think it might be too baggy), but for now, this size 14 will do just fine. Quality seems good although she's only worn it twice. I'm thinking of getting the tankini that is like this for around our pool as they are less restricting and the style my daughter prefers. But very happy to have gotten this, it's not too girly which my daughter loves.4Wonderful suit!!My 4 year old is in love with this swimsuit! She thinks it s pretty cool so has a speedo suit like the big girls that race wear! Even with the cutout in the back it covers her really well. There are little soft rubber grips on the inside around the bum to help keep the swimsuit wear it belongs. Mine daughter is pretty petite for her age. She s almost 5 and still in a lot of 4/4t clothes and we got this suit in a 6. I would recommend going up a size for sure. I think the 6 fits her well because she does have a longer torso.5AS LONG AS YOU KNOW IT RUNS SMALLThis suit is great, as long as you know that it runs small. I didn't want the straps falling down (etc) for swimming lessons so we bought this... her first decent suit. My daughter is 6, but is one of the bigger kids in her class. She's 42" tall and 55#. She wears 7/8 shirts and size 8 (never slim) jeans. We bought this suit in a size 10, and it's perfect. Eaay for her to get on, and only a TINY bit baggy in the hips. But certainly nothing that bothers her. Covers her rear end well/fully & doesn't ride up.53 Strikes and You re OutThis is the third Speedo Girls Infinity bathing suit that I bought this year. The material in all three wore thin and started to sag after a short time and limited wear. I kept going back to this same suit, because it fit my granddaughter so well. The last one was delivered on December 28th and three months later can't be worn because the material has broken down and is see through. My granddaughter has worn it a total of 15 times for swim lessons that last an hour. As soon as we get home, I hand wash it in the sink and let it air dry. I won't be buying this one again.1Awesome suit, but make sure you check the sizing guide!Bought this for my daughter for her rec swimming team. She likes the suit a lot as it looks like a professional's suit and she has not had any issues whatsoever with it riding up. Take care to check the sizing guide in the pictures to make sure you get the right size. The swim suit sizes do not correspond to normal clothing sizes (even if one ignores the fact that clothing sizes are generally not consistent anyways)5Great Suit!Be mindful when you order the size. Speedo runs a little differently than other swimsuits. My daughter is just transitioning into a 7/8 in regular clothes at Target now and she semi-fits into the same size bathing suits (gotta tweak the straps normally), but she wears a size 10 in Speedo. If you're unsure, definitely buy a couple of sizes and make sure Amazon is offering FREE RETURNS on those sizes, that's what helped us!5Worth the money for the best quality. Great suit!My daughter loves the suit. Very high quality, nice cut. Her but doesnt ride up at all. She actually told me she swims faster with it on which was adorable.
