Made my thighs and stomach look a size slimmer, which is what I wanted. The only negative part was that I had to take ALL of my clothes off on top to use the restroom. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.4Perfect for post-surgery compressionI had abdominal surgery and had to wear a compression garment for 6 weeks. The one the doctor gave me was full length to ankle, which was fine during the clotting risk period, but after that was just driving me nuts. Ordered several alternatives but returns them all except this one. Perfect level of tightness with minimum construction. Life saver.5Not perfect, but very comfortable and smooths bulgesOver all, I am pleased with this purchase. The body slimmer is comfortable and lightweight yet firms and smooths the bulges, which is what I wanted. I'm long-waisted and, surprisingly, have not have a problem with the shoulder straps being uncomfortable; however, restroom visits pose a problem. Even though there is a crotch panel it is not effective for practical use. When I know I'm going to be wearing this bodysuit I purposely don't consume many liquids or I simply plan on undressing in the restroom stall. For the price I paid, I'd hoped for easier access for those restroom visits, but oh well. At least the legs don't ride or roll up.4These are awesome. The only thing is I wish the part on the thigh would be a little bit shorter, there are some dresses I cannot wear them with because the thigh part goes down so low and you can see it past the dress.5Makes everything look smooth!Im 5' 4", 139 lbs and pear shaped. The medium size fits well, smoothes & shapes without squeezing everything too tight. Didn't realize this had an extra tummy control, that wasn't in the description but it's ok with me.4Did the Job Comfortably with Unexpected BenefitsI purchased XS for my petite, 5'4", 100 lb daughter to wear under an interview dress (instead of underwear and a traditional slip). Her dress tended to show panty lines and be more body revealing than wanted. The thinstincts bodysuit was light, seamlessly smooth and conformed nicely to her body without binding or maXSking her hot. The mid-thigh length was also just the right length (being a few inches above her hemline). Overall it helped to make the dress more professionally appropriate. Furthermore I was pleasantly surprised how the body-suit's arm-straps smoothed out the bra line under her arms and around her ribcage. Another unexpected benefit was that it held her bra straps more securely in place- no annoying straps falling off of her shoulders. I wasn't sure if I would like the open-bust design, but it turned out to be a blessing that my daughter could wear her own bra. In all, I am very happy with this purchase. It seemed expensive at the time, but was well worth it in the end.5Not proportioned for shorter womenIf you're even remotely short-waisted, this product won't fit you properly. The straps are adjustable but then the open part of the bust isn't really open any longer....it's cutting across the middle of your bust and that just isn't a good look. The idea of it is great. You don't have a band going across the md section; wonderful for a smooth line under a dress.
