As advertised: comfy, very sharp and reasonably pricedBig Skecher fan, long-time user. I've only had soft tops and spongy bottoms that feel like slippers --- which are great by the way.This Harper-Ford is more like a dress shoe with a leather-like top. A bit stiffer than the slipper-like models, yet still soft. These are very nice, sharp-looking shoes that I would wear with really anything from sport coat to shorts.(I also notice that on the Skecher website these shoes sell for around $80. Could be a sales ploy to get you to come in here or another discount website to purchase; perhaps they sell more that way. Either way, $50-ish is very reasonable for shoes like these).P.S.: I reviewed two other similar models which I purchased simultaneously and said pretty much the same thing. That's me, though!5formerly formal shoe wearer goes casualA jean shoe that also passes in a suit. But not a real fancy suit where people are going to give you a hard time about your lack of oxford. Even then it won't matter because you will be 100x more comfortable. If you don't want to wear tennis shoes with your suits then this is definitely your game. This is the only skecher I found that could pull off semi-formal. A joy to wear.5These are comfortable. They feel like house shoesThese are comfortable. They feel like house shoes, but look like work shoes. They look funny with shorts, but good with everything else. I particularly like how light they are, and how easy to slip on and off. If you want a good idea of what I'm talking about when it comes to these shoes, sing the theme to the Greatest American Hero in your head. Or out loud if you want to. Its up to you.5Half a size big, but great business casual shoeAbsolutely love these shoes. I'm one of those unfortunate folks who has very different sized feet; left is 13.5, right is 12.5. These relaxed fit Skechers are designed to be a bit more roomy, and feel just perfect on my feet (size 13 shoe). With these, plan for them being about half a size larger than your normal. Which is great, because most shoes don't come in 13.5! So this shoe offers a way to get that size basically.As for the look, I've provided some photos. It's a perfect business casual shoe. Great with slacks and a dress shirt, or even nice jeans. Probably too casual to wear with a suit. But these definitely look good enough to wear to an office. Also, by the way - they are very comfortable.5I like Skechers.... but I'm not old...I love these shoes. this is my second pair of black. I own the brown as well. I work in a hospital and am on my feet a lot. My shoes need to be comfortable and still have grip as I can be inside or outside but still need to look nice with a pair of slacks when I'm in meetings. The only issue I have is with them being leather, there is little to no ventilation and tend to start to small after a few months of wear. That could just be my stinky feet and not the shoes problem. Overall I still like these shoes a lot and haven't found a replacement yet.5Great construction but a fatal flaw - see updateGreat casual shoe... even doubles as a slipper if you're prone to run outside for something. Size runs true, not super wide.Should last many years. Looks good too. Update this sole is slippery when wet. Very slippery! I cannot drive the car with a wet shoe from the rain because it slips off the clutch. These shoes will slip on a rubber mat when wet.3A TAD BIT ROOMYThey look good, super great price, but are just a tad bit large at my normal size, which is a 10.. But these feel more like a 10 1/2, which makes them just outside the realm of practical for me. I mostly buy Clarks for the office and have only had one pair that was roomy like these...they (Clarks) are usually snug and comfortable... However, these Sketchers here are a little loose and a bit roomy and the heel seems higher or rather elevated more than any of my other shoes which is not a feeling that I like, I like a lower more connected to the ground feeling... they are light as a feather and in my opinion, would be fantastic if they were a little more snug and lower in the heel..My big toe is right to the end, so a smaller size is just not the answer... I have had these on for a couple of hours now and they are becoming even more loose as I walk and the minutes pass, and it feels like by the time I get home, they will be ready to fall off. Suffice to say, later this week, these will no longer be worn by me... but they will be on the way to my brothers house and let him give them a go... for me... not wearable.!3Synthetic rubber upperI was anxious to get this pair since they looked great from the pictures. However, when I got mine and tried them on, I was disappointed that for the cost, the uppers were synthetic rubber made to look like leather. Guess I did not read the specifications that close. Then a quick walk around the bedroom, the edges of the sole dug into the bottom of my feet. I thought there was a staple or something in them from the packaging. Did matter since I could easily buy real leather for less so I returned them to Amazon using the 7 day return policy. Thank you Amazon. For the money, I would not recommend1Fits just like my other SketchersFits just like my other Sketchers. This pair was true to size and feels like there is a little extra cushion in the heels. I have two rupitured Achilles' tendon repairs so comfort and support are very important to me. I have over 7 pairs of different Sketchers and these are at the top of my list for comfort.5Very Comfortable and Nice LookingI have a wide foot and almost always have to order my shoes over the internet because few shoe stores carry wide shoes. They always try to sell you one size bigger for the width. That doesn't work. This was my first pair of Sketchers and they were very comfortable especially with the memory foam inner liner. and their w width was perfect. I usually get EEs. Plus I like the style and will probably order a couple of other pair different styles.5
