A Pleasant SurpriseI was very skeptical of wearing anything on my arms when playing golf (3-4 time/week) to shield me from the sun. I thought it would be too hot and uncomfortable. I am absolutely amazed by these sleeves. It felt like my arms were air conditioned. They are vey light and comfortable after you get use to them, only about 3-4 holes. Playing golf in CA year round, you have to have some protection, and I'm sold on these sleeves. Can't say enough good things about them. As for delivery, they were sent and delivered on time. Great service. Thank you. 5This is one of the better made productI had purchased several of these arm sleeves for protection from sun/heat while playing golf.This is one of the better made product. Fabric is thin but not super thin. Stretches well, yet returns to original size after use.Less well made sleeves often have stitches that come off after few uses, but this one does not seem to have that issue.Only issue is lack of various sizes available. This one would fit ladies just fine. But most men might find it a bit too tight. 4Allergic to the sun? living in Arizona? these are a lifesaverI live in Arizona and I m allergic to the sun so I needed something that would cover as much of my arms believe my fingers free and be extremely cool. I was shocked at how well these worked and how they cut my arm is extremely cool I don t like the beige I ll be honest I ordered a pair of black ones because the beige that dirty extremely quick. Also I have tattoos and you can see them through the sleeves so I wouldn t recommend these for covering up your tattoos for work but as far as to protect your tattoos from the sun these are amazing. I have an 18 inch by bicep I m chubby so I was scared they wouldn t fit but they do and they don t fall down 5does what its supposed to doI LOVE to garden and work in my back yard and hot weather can be a bit much. I realized going to the beach how uneven my skin color is on different parts of my body. My forearms are extremely dark (I have the farmers tan) and the rest of me is pretty fair. I would say mainly because I work in t-shirts. Occasionally the tank tops come up when it's super hot, but that is another issue. Anyway, I thought this would keep my arms from getting sunburned and darker. So they were easy to put on (similar to putting on pantyhose) you have to scrunch them up and pull them on... the upper band was a little tight on my out-of-shape flabby arms BUT not uncomfortable... I was able to pull them up to fit underneath the edge of my t-shirt short sleeve. I worked in them all day in the hot sun. They did NOT make me hot or sweaty but rather kept that part of my body cool. I felt a little more protected as well from shrubs, etc. even though they were not specifically made for that.At the end of the day... NO SUNBURN no extra dark forearms and no messing with sticky sunscreen. They really do the trick. Keep you cool, protect your skin from the sun AND they are comfortable. What more can you ask for? They were a great price and I will be wearing them religiously to protect my skin out in the garden. I must say they are perfect! The color is rich, fit is long, and the material feels really good against my skin. Great investment!! 5Sleeve stays in place, Comfortable fitThe arm compression sleeve is very comfortable and is a good fit. The elastic at the top is a catch 22 - it can get slightly uncomfortable after a while but it's precisely what keeps the sleeve in place. Other sleeves I've purchased haven't stayed in place for very long and I'd find myself having to continuously pull them up. With this ShinyMod sleeve the elastic keeps the sleeve in place quite well. I'm 6' 1" and weigh 150 lbs, and I'm not a body-builder, so I don't have large arms. I can't imagine a larger person wanting to wear them. I wear them if I'm riding in direct sun for long periods of time and take them off when I can. I wish they were enough larger to be against the skin still, but not feel like they are squeezing my arms. 4For all the skeptics out there I work outside for a living and needed something to keep me cool and protect my arms from the sun. These are much better quality than I expected, and perform much better than I could've imagined. I was skeptical of wearing long sleeves in the sun as a strategy to stay cool, but couldn't have been more wrong. I dip my arms in the pool to add to the cooling effect. I keep five pairs of these in my truck just in case I forget them at home. They are now essential for me to do my job. Not having them is like forgetting sunglasses on a bright day. 5Nice fabric, too small for me.I wish these came with sizes. I had to return them because they were too small for my arms, cutting off the circulation. The largest part of my arm is 14" in diameter. If your arms are as large or larger than mine, these aren't for you. 4Great product but has flawsOverall I think these are one of the best UV protectors on the market. Not as hot and sweaty as other products I've used. I can actually feel the breeze. However, with minimal usage I noticed fuzzies or strands starting to show. One such fuzzy turned into a strand and has now caused a small hole. I love the product but seriously in a small amount of time, as I use the sleeve more the hole is growing. I guess I'll have to order another set or shop around. 3
