    0ne of the tire tubes went flat when filledbought 3 tubes and upon using the first one it went flat. just put the second one on the bike and we will see. Hopefully it holds.I contacted the distributor and received a response from Amazon that the tube will be replaced and I do not have to send back the defective one.I would recommend this product since it is backed up by Amazon and there was no issue on replacement.Win win situation. 5Still the best tubes I have ever usedI have used these tubes for years and they are still the best ones I have ever tried. If you use self-sealing tubes with a good tire liner, you will get much less flats. Especially if you buy some puncture-resistant tires. My favorite combination is this: Schwinn self-sealing tubes, Mr Tuffy (or Slime) tire liners), plus Serfas drifter tires. I'm not sure if Amazon will let me post the review mentioning these brand names, but I have ridden for years on roads covered with broken glass, and now I rarely get flat tires when I use this combination. 5Only went a few months after install (approx 10 rides) ...Only went a few months after install (approx 10 rides). Big hole opened up near valve steam location on perimeter of valve stem circle. This are located rim side, not tire side. No way to repair. Nothing but a big blue mess from internal sealant (which obviously did not work). 1Bad luck with the one I got. Burst at 30psi.Removed old inner tube from rear tire and checked for any debris, burrs, or sharp edges along the inside of the rim and the tire. Installed slightly inflated Schwinn inner tube and re-seated the tire. Aired it up using compressor regulated to 45psi. Inner tube burst at 30psi. I should have worn ear protection because it was loud enough to make my ears ring for a few minutes. Went to store and bought a competitor's inner tube (actually was slightly cheaper even with tax included). Re-checked rear wheel and tire for sharp edges or debris. Found none. Installed the store bought inner tube using the same procedure. Aired it up to 40psi and took it on a test ride. No issues. Next day rode about 2 hours and everything was fine.Conclusion: I probably got a bad one.Other thoughts: It seemed as though the store bought inner tube had a slightly thicker wall and/or tougher rubber compound. It wasn't as pliable as this one. 1DO NOT BUY!This Schwinn is actually a Kenda inner tube, labelled so right on it. It has the same exact problem as EVERY OTHER Kenda inner tube. It blows out right at the valve stim. I took this to my installer and had it installed, as he was filling it with air it popped. It did not even get above 40psi before it blew. 1Slow leak in all tubes.I finally used my last tube out of this pack after all the others went flat. I thought there was something wrong with my wheel/tire that was causing slow leaks in these tires. Last night, I took the last tube out, that was flat, and aired it up a bit, sprayed it with soapy water, and found the leak. There was no puncture from not using a rim strip or a thorn in my tire. The leak was coming directly from where the metal meets the rubber on the valve stem. This is a manufacturers defect and I now wish I had tested all the other tires. I never did anything that caused them to pop and I don't ride on places where I could even get thorns or glass.I'd avoid these tubes. I basically wasted money on something that was not up to par for the job at all. Every last one of the tubes slow leaked if I left the bike sitting for a few days. 1DONT BUY 27X1.25 TUBES HEREWhere to start, I bought two new tube and two me tires for my 70s Schwinn Varsity with 27x1.25 tubes/tires.I put my first tube and tire on, aired it up a bit to much to work with the tire seating so I deflated it a bit and the green slime sealant started gurgling out. I cleaned the valve out and once I worked the seating issue out I started to air up again BUT WAIT! the tubes valve is no longer working and isn't airing out or letting air in. I can only think the green sealant clogged the valve. I've spent days trying to free the valve but have had no luck. So there goes the first tube.Okay so second tube time, only one of my tubes was bad on my bike in the first place so no biggy. Still going to fix the problem. I get the second tube on and like the first the tube seemed a bit too big in diameter (larger than the branded 27in) and no matter the psi would bunch up under the tire. Now after days of deflating, massaging the tube and tire into the seat, and inflating the tire NEVER seats into the bead. The tube ALWAYS bunches up and blows the tire off the rim as I approach 40psi.I double checked before I bought, and before I installed, both the new tube AND my new tires were the correct 27 x1.25 spec. I even took off the one good tube after many times of getting it to inflate and seat correctly to see if it was the correct sizing again. The tubes HAVE to be incorrect.Lastly Before writing this review I saw that someone had the same issues as me on the same model/generation of bike with the same sizing and if I saw that review before I bought I would have 150% not ordered these tubes. Waste of my time and money.I can forsure say I won't be buying tubes from here or off Amazon anymore. I'll find time to run down the few blocks to the local bike shop on a day off and get the right tubes. I literally spent $20 and 4 days to get 2 tubes that don't fit to get blisters on my fingers.Refund me or send me the correct sizes and I will change this review, no problem.NOTE: THIS IS ONLY WITH THE 27 X 1.25 SIZED TUBING. 1Inconsistent sizingBought two tubes and they were both slightly different sizes. Given how much tubes stretch I'm a little surprised these aren't .5 inches smaller. They were easy to get over the wheel but there was a lot of tube when it came to stuffing it into the tire. I'll order these again, but I'll always order more than one in case there's a size issue again. 3Great tubes for older Schwinn bikes....Worked great on a vintage 1980 Schwinn Varsity ten-speed. Keep in mind that many people will install the tube/tire and then partially fill the tube with a few pounds of air to work out anything that might be pinching or binding the rubber....then let the air completely out and fill it up to the recommended PSI. If you do this, make sure the tire is vertical and the valve is at the top...otherwise you'll get a nice squirt of the green slime they put into these tubes... 5Check the size against your rim!I'm sure this was a packaging error by Schwinn. The tube size was supposed to be 27x 1 1/4 but the tube was quite a bit larger. I did not realize the problem until the tube blew the tire off the rim. I ended up using the old tubes with the new 27 inch tires I bought. Always check the tube against the rim before installing! 1
