Purchased for my 83 year old mom. They don t ...Purchased for my 83 year old mom. They don t stay on her feet and the grippers are not sufficient to keep her from sliding on the hardwood floor. She nearly fell getting out of bed when her feet just slipped rather than gripping. Do not purchase for safety reasons they will not prevent falls. 1The Best Anti Slip Socks On the MarketMy husband, who has Alzheimer's, took a terrible terrible fall in the master bedroom in the middle of the night. I woke up to a massive cut in his arm because he slipped in the dark while trying to get to the light switch. These socks are absolutely fabulous. Extremely well made, high quality and he loves the comfort. In closing I have also equipped the master bedroom and in fact the entire house, with motion lights. I have purchased other non slip socks and without exception they start to break down after a couple months. I highly recommend washing on gentle cycle and then hanging out to dry. After 3 washes these AS socks look like they did New out of the package. If you have a loved one, please, keep these socks handy. These socks are on my darlings feet every night before he gets into bed and there's not been one slip. Thanks for manufacturering such a great and safe pair of socks. I know these are not just for seniors, they would work just as well in a gym, yoga, hospital (those hospital socks just slip off of my husbands feet; no thanks I'll bring his AS socks from home) and many other uses. However, so far, I am totally loving these! I cannot take the risk of falling because I have the blood supply to my right shoulder compromised, and my lumbar-sacral spine is badly degenerated. I got an infection in my legs and have had to wear lymphedma wraps for several weeks and I have new wood floors--so I was sliding all over the place and it wasnt safe. I fast ordered these socks and as soon as I put them on I was stuck to the floor so well I could walk around without a cane. They are perfect for what I needed. I have size 10 EEE feet (womens) and with the feet infection wraps my feet were huge--but the mens xlarge socks fit perfectly--not too tight and not loose at all. I and my friends and nurses have been thrilled by theses socks--not often do you find a product that fits your needs so perfectly. They have been washed in the washer once and retained their shape and grip. Keep up the good work--you are filling a real need out there. (no I dont do yoga so they are multi-purpose!) I like them so much I ordered some more! 5SUPER non skid socks--best I've found!I purchased these for my husband before he had his hip and knee replacements. They are superior quality, and performed perfectly at the hospital and home. Certainly much better quality and comfort than the non skid socks they provide at the hospital. My husband wears a size 10 1/2 shoe, and I ordered the XLg and they fit perfectly; not too tight or sloppy. I wash these in an all-black load in cold water and NEVER put them in the dryer, as I know that will shorten the life of the socks. I will be purchasing more of these, and HIGHLY recommend them. 5Finally a footie for big feet ...I wear a women's size 10 shoe, so getting footies that will fit comfortably is tough. I ordered the XL, and they are plenty big. I like them a lot, and will order more but next time I'll order the large size. They're not too thick, nor are they too thin. The gripers are plentiful and work well. Not too tight at the ankle. And they have a snug band around the arch of the foot, which is comfortable. Overall I really like them. 5
