Great shoesI love these shoes. They fit my 8-yr olds feet well and are very comfortable. We get many compliments because they look sturdy and safe for growing feet. The one thing that I'm not happy with and the reason for 4-stars is that they peel. When my daughter scuffs them, the outer layer peels. I also bought a red pair that are almost new, but they peeled so much that I haven't put them back on my daughter. That part is the most dissapointing about these otherwise almost perfect shoes.4Anyone else between sizing????My daughter just turned four. It is summer (end of July) and we live in a warm climate. She wears 8.5 in a sandal (no sock). We also have a Nike size 10 sneaker that she wears with socks. They run a little big. So I ordered a 10-10.5 for September. They just fit now with no insert. They have very little extra space. I am not sure if I should order the 11-11.5 size or if they are not going to fit by September? Otherwise love the shoe. Little stiff. She loves them and tells me they fit great. They run just a little smaller than Nike to give you a source for comparison. Also the brown leather is very nice but it does have pink stitching the shoe. It's a cute shoe but it surprised me to see the pink.4Great School Shoe I opted for this Pediped flex brand ...Great School ShoeI opted for this Pediped flex brand shoe to support my active preschooler. The shoes worked very well when she was running around and yet they maintained their shape and continued to fit well for the not so active times. I'll be purchasing them again for the upcoming school year. Be advised that the toes of little ones shoes were really scuffed and a layer of the "patent leather" peeled in those areas. Underneath the peeled area was a subdued black color so the shoes were still wearable and the scuffed area wasn't very obvious (except to me of course).5Leather peeling after third wearThis is probably our fourth pair of Isabella's. We've bought several other models for our son as well. I have been happy until now. On the third wear the leather started peeling. She's worn them about seven times now and they look like they are years old. Previous pairs have lasted all year despite running through pebbles on the playground daily. I don't know if we were just lucky before or if the leather quality has declined to save on costs. They also don't seem to be holding their shape as well. I'm not sure if I will continue to buy pediped after this.2Great quality! Very good longevity!We bought these 2 years ago. Worth every penny!! I didn't want the toes to get all scratched that's why I went with these. I researched TONS of shoes for longevity and wear. They have the edge/lip around the front the help prevent those pesky scuffs on the toes. We didn't get the toes scratched! I was so impressed when they arrived! Over what I expected. Beautiful, real quality shoes! What I didn't realize is they can grow with your child. Everything falls off my girls feet if I get it too large, but with these you could totally get them a little larger and they will stay on!! They included an extra insert for that. One of my daughters had to take it out when they first arrived because with it in they were too tight. I wish I had gotten them bigger but they still look great and they wore them with their school uniforms everyday! We got about 1 1/2 yrs with one child and 2 yrs with the other before they could no longer fit them. Go with a size bigger to get more time in them, they will last!52nd purchase great shoe but this time issue with sizeI love this simple shoe and have bought it for the second time. Our first pair she wore from 18 months till 3 years old -thanks to the insert. No scuffs or comfort complaints and she wore them a lot. This time I bought my daughter who is wearing about 7.5 the size 8 and it fits her perfectly but doesn't look like she would have any room to grow in it like her other pair so I ordered a bigger size. I bought an 8.5 and 9 and both were to big for her to wear right now. I had also bought the 8.5 for my niece who is an 8 narrow and its big for her at moment and the 8 was to small. Little disappointed b/c size was spot on the first time we purchased the shoe but seems little inconsistent this time. Maybe that's why the were on sale for 20$- they were size reject. '. The show is awesome just hope I can get the right size so I can get another couple of years out of them.5The best brown Mary Jane shoe!This is my 2nd year in a row buying this shoe in brown for my daughter. She wears this color in fall and winter often, and has high enough protection on the sides of the shoe that as long as there's not heavy precipitation, it's fine for in and out of car, etc. The material is seems water resistant, there are no cut outs on the top which I appreciate, and the bottom is a nice thick slip proof rubber. It's probably not for a really dress up occasion when a formal dress is required, but definitely for dressing up more than just a casual look, and can still pass for everyday use. Very well made, hence the heftier price, and I'm willing to pay it again, but not if the price goes up more more from $49, although this price isn't out of line compared to other quality shoes. Definitely worth buying over the shoes are 10-15$ cheaper and aren't as nice. Fits true to size, and I strongly recommend ordering a half size up from your child's current shoe size. Nothing an extra pair of socks won't solve if it's a half size too big, as the strap is strong and the shoe doesn't rub up and down on the heel.5Defective strap - shoe strap will not adhere to shoeThis is the second pair of Pedipeds Kids Flex Isabella - k. The first pair held up very well after daily wear to school. I bought the next size up for the remainder of the school year. The right shoe's strap is defective and will not adhere to the shoe. It is a velcro strip, but because of the angle of the strap, it doesn't meet up on the velcro on the shoe and does not stick.Sadly i cannot return because my child JUST grew into these shoes and it's too late for Amazon to accept.1Top layer of shoe is pealing off!Very disappointed! Bought a pair for my 5 yr old granddaughter. She has only worn the shoes 5 times since December. The top front of the left shoe is completely pealing off. And I can't return the pair for a refund or exchange.1Excellent quality shoesMore than excellent shoes. Genuine leather, came with extra soles (!!!) for free, good thick velco closure, sturdy soles. This company is the best, will be buying more in the future! This company actually cares about your child's feet!IMPPORTANT UPDATE!! After about 9 months use: Maybe it was bad luck but the stitches that hold the velcro in place came loose in 1 shoe - and so both shoes are now useless!! Although they still looked great and still fitted perfectly for another school year to come !! I am SO upset I have to throw away perfectly looking and fitting shoes because of this!!!! I paid good money for these shoes and they were so good in so many ways ! I could cry!5
