    Save money, don't buy!I was so excited to get these for my son and have always heard great things about Oakiwear... Well, we've had them just over a month and the boots are falling apart. The worst part about it is my son has only worn them maybe a couple times a week and not for real long. He has a ton of shoes so they all kind of get rotated. In the past he's always had Bogs which have held up so well that my younger son has them as hand me downs...definitely not the case this time! Save yourself the money and buy something else!2Cheap looking design! Picture online is different!!I am really disappointed with the look of these boots. They looked so cute online but the pair I received looks like a child designed them. The circular emblem looks like a sticker and that someone just stuck it on to the boot. It's crooked and there are bubbles trapped under it from where air got in. The emblem was even cut crooked.The yellow stripes were placed on crooked and the whole look just appears cheap! I will be returning these. I would appreciate my money back and a free return on shipment.I would suggest selecting a flat design because any kind of added piece to the design is clearly glued on.1Cute, but runs WAYYYY SMALL!We ordered 4t for my son and they fit too tight so I returned (and had to pay $5 in return shipping) and ordered the next size up and they came and seemed absolutely no bigger! Had to return again and ordered two sizes up and now i'm just waiting. I have tried to initiate the second return and they won't push it through and I'm going to have to pay another $5 in return shipping. If my son hadn't already seen & loved... I would be DONE!2My son loves them (the size 6 version I'm pretty sure is the same)So i ordered a size 6 of these and received 9. When i went to repurchase the size 6 they were no longer on sale and no one would honor price. So I got bitter. Kept the size 9 and ordered size 6 off Carters/Oshkosh with my rewards. My son loves them (the size 6 version I'm pretty sure is the same). My nephew kept stealing them until my mom bought him his own, and my 16 month old is always wanting to wear them around the house. Great quality, hard for new walkers to walk in but that's expected. The loops on side make them easy for toddlers to put on themselves.4NOT Made to Last!Boots tore in 2 places after one month of wear by a 5 year old rendering them useless. Beware! These boots are not made to last. I was hoping to get boots that would last through 2 kids, instead I got boots that lasted one month with moderate wear. Very dissapointing. In addition to the holes the interior cloth liner started to separate. BOO! My son did NOT run through knives or anything, just to school and home. Maufacture doesnt cover rips or tears in boots... which is exactly what you are going to get. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!1Color has already worn off after ONE MONTH of use.The fit is perfect on these, but I m a little surprised and saddened to see an OAKI product wear so quickly. I purchased these on April 29, 2019. Today is May 27, 2019. After ONE MONTH the toes are already worn off?! If I knew that was gonna happen I could ve just bought cheaper ones. Also, the side strap broke after 2 weeks. I m really disappointed, OAKI.3Highly recommended!My 2.5 year old son and daughter love these boots. They are able to put them on by there self, not usually on the correct foot, and they love running around in them. I like how easy they are to clean, they have a study, slip resistant tread on the bottom, and the inside has a thin fabric type liner that makes it easy to slide them on and off without socks. Plus, they are adorable! Highly recommend them!5AdorableWhen I lived in FL, my daughter loved splashing in puddles. So that meant she needed quality rain boots. We ended up finding Oakiwear about 4 years ago. She has always been able to wear them for 2 years or more and the quality was great. When we moved to the PNW and she was much more active, and so was the rain and mud, the boots lasted one rainy season. Having Hunter boots myself, the rubber isn't as thick on Oaki's and the soles are more likely to crack and get holes and separate. But for the price, how can you go wrong? Especially with the cute designs, GREAT customer service, and sizes for kiddos. My son also has Oaki's and his two pairs have ripped handles within a few months (I guess the difference between boys and girls,) and tears and rips in the sides and soles within a year. I don't know if we are just really putting them through the ringer here in Portland, Oregon, but they don't hold up as well anymore. We still love them!5Holey (well, cracked) rain boots: not so effectiveThese were great, at first. They're super cute and my daughter loved them. However, after several months--less than a year!--my daughter began complaining of her feet being wet when she wore these and the insides would get drenched. At first I thought this was bc she was splashing and getting water in the boot over the edges but after watching her carefully I realized that couldn't be it. Upon closer examination, I found that the boots had cracked along the seams on either side of each boot, letting water just pour in and rendering them completely useless as rain boots. One might say that if I'd gotten a few months of use out of them, I'd gotten my money's worth. I'd say that considering we live in California (in a long term drought) and my daughter had worn these fewer than a total of *maybe* 20 days, I'd say I'd been seriously shortchanged. I did give them two stars because they were adorable while they lasted, but no more bc at the rate a toddler's foot grows, my daughter should have been able to outgrow these long before they failed in their purpose. Very disappointed!1Adorable, but not durable at allMaybe we just ended up with a defective pair, but I expected to get more than 4 months of wear out of these. My 2 year old LOVES these boots and wears them any time it's even slightly wet (which is a lot in winter in Oregon). He isn't overly rough on them, but there's definitely some visible wear to the sole and upper of the boot. So, I was surprised to find his socks soaked after splashing through puddles recently. Inspecting the seam where sole meets upper at the ball of the foot, I found a 1 inch hole - like one where I could see the interior fabric of the boot. I wrote the company to ask about repairs; they were super responsive, but since the boots were out of warranty they couldn't offer any help. I tried using shoe goo (yes, following instructions and being careful to let it cure for 72 hours) to fix it...and found a slightly smaller hole in the same place on the other boot. I must not have cleaned the rubber well enough, because the seal lasted about 1 day before we had wet socks again. Maybe because the holes collected dirt before I realized they existed (?).I don't have infinite funds to buy kiddo gear, so I do my research and buy quality things that I expect to last. I really want to give these a better review. They are incredibly adorable, my little guy can easily put them on himself, I had heard only positive things about the durability and quality of Oakiewear products (like people passing gear on to younger siblings/friends), and I love that the company is focused on developing gear for kids so that they can spend as much time as possible exploring and adventuring outdoors...but these did not hold up and I'm seeing similar reviews posted recently. Super disappointing.2
