    Exactly what I wanted - very good price - excellent Hadley-Roma qualityThe pictures look to be a bit darker than the strap actually is though this is a very nice quality watch strap. The width at the lugs is dead-on not "about" or a little under over sized for what is stated. The watch I replaced the band on had a poly band and was a little too rigid and "pinched" my wrist. Just after I swapped the original poly to this leather strap the watch is much more comfortable. The stitching is contrasting and almost a cream color not a stark white which means it won't show dirt after the first wearing and adds a sporty yet classic look. There's a bit of tapering but it's not excessive and adds to the comfort. The strap does not come with spring pins but you'll probably transfer your original ones if they're in good condition anyhow - I recommend buying a spring pin tool for easy removal/install they are only a few dollars here on Amazon. Hadley-Roma produces leather and exotic straps for some pretty well known watch brands - these will NOT look like watch straps purchased at a big box store and while I don't wear just one watch from day to day the other watches with Hadley-Roma straps hold up very well - quality is top notch.5Not durableGreat quality leather and apparent craftsmanship. Have purchased three of these over the past couple of years. Each of the first two lasted roughly a year in use. Acceptable durability for a leather watch band I suspect. The third and current band has begun to fall about after two months of use. Inner lining has pulled away at the buckle. Appears to be an adhesive failure as the liner is not sewn to the 'upper' at this point. Disappointing given the otherwise high quality materials used in fabricating the band.2Nice look, complete lack of manufacturing quality controlGreat looking strap, pathetic manufacturing. First strap had the lining cut too short at the pointed end of the strap, causing the lining to lift up when I inserted it into the buckle (the rubber surrounding the strap ends didn't cover the lining to keep it form lifting up). Amazon quickly sent a replacement, the replacement had glue film on the leather near the buckle area. That wasn't the problem, the problem with the 2nd strap was the lining wasn't glued to the leather top so the buckle was ready to fall out of place. That is some really pathetic manufacturing quality.1Quality doesn't meet expectationsFirst I must say the strap looks much better in person than on pictures. That's a good side.On the other hand, there are a few cons:1) The quality is below my expectations. I've noticed that the glue that connects upper layer of the strap with its lining, has dried, or it was simply a very bad glue. Therefore at the buckle's end of the strap near the keepers the upper layer of the strap and the lining are separated from each other. As a result, the buckle cannot stay in place and comes loose, making the gap even bigger. That is what I noticed right out of the box, I haven't even put the strap on the watch yet. Of course I will try to fix it by myself, I guess a few drops of superglue will solve the problem. But, you know, from the very beginning, that is poor quality indeed.2) I expected more thickness for a 26mm strap. They say "medium pad" in description, but, well, "medium" is something abstract, go figure what exactly they meant. Why can not they clearly state thickness in millimeters, same as many others do? Something like "Thickness 4mm" or so. Anyway, I was expecting more padding near lugs area.3) They could include a pair of 26mm spring bars, which would be nice. But they didn't. You need to buy the spring bars by yourself, or use your old ones, if they fits.Why is this important? I know many people is looking for a 26mm replacement straps for Invicta Lupah. Lupah is a popular watch, and 26mm is a default strap size for most of men's Lupah's models.If you buy this strap for Invicta Lupah, you must beware that in most cases you will not be able to use Lupah's default spring bars with that strap. This is because in almost all versions of Lupahs the default strap's spring bars usually have special small thumb for "quick change" feature, which makes them uncompatible with straps made by non-Invicta.This is why it's convenient if seller provides the spring bars with the strap, otherwise you need to buy extra spring bars by yourself. Keep that in mind.4) The description proudly says "Made in the U.S.A." But the sticker on a package says CHINA... Whoops... Looks like the manufacturer tries to mislead the customers?So that will be a 3 stars rating. I've seen much better straps even in that price range.3My favorite new brown strap!This strap is great. It's thick and substantial, but wore in quickly and was quickly very comfortable. It looks great on anything from a big chunky diver (modded SKX007) to my dressier watches (Bulova Accutron II). It's also a great value-the leather seems to be high quality-it's definitely not the more-plastic-than-not leather that you will usually get with a $10-15 watch band.5Looks great, but the second loop is too looseI love the look and feel of this band. I've not found it to be so stiff as to make it difficult to put on and take off as other reviewers have mentioned, and I'm sensitive to this because I bought this as a replacement for the stock rubber band that was on my Victorinox Maverick watch. The fit, at 22mm, is perfect. The gripe that I have is that the non-stationary loop is very, very loose. As such, If I move it to a position such that it keeps the tip of the band from sticking out, invariably it slips past the end of the band, and the tip sticks out anyway. So, I just move it to the position it's in in the photo here - not very useful. I just think this is something H-R should have mastered at this point. It's a great price and it really is a nice band otherwise, so i'll keep it for now.3Sufficient band, quality priceNo, it doesn't last forever. But as long as you take it off during vigorous activity and don't wear it into water, the band will last much longer. The first one I bought only lasted about 4 months because I wore my watch during everything (including shower), and it deteriorated rather quickly. However, I'm currently on my second one bought probably about a year ago and it's still holding together.UPDATE: That second one did indeed last a few more months until the second strap (to hold the loose end after tightening) broke due to wear. So it lasted a little over a year, which made me downgrade it to 4 stars. Perhaps I'm asking too much, but I've decided to purchase another product in the hopes that it lasts longer.Looks very stylish and I definitely don't feel bad about needing to replace it every once in a while considering the great price. Makes my Timex look like a high class watch.4Nice, but a manufacturing defectI'm having a hard time with this review, as I really like the watch band, but I had a quality issue with the clasp.First the good: I've only been wearing the watch band for a few days, so I can not say how it will hold up. All indications are that the leather is good quality and it will last a long time. The finish is textured and has a natural sheen (not shiny like plastic, a nice leather). The stitching is well done and even.The bad: After I installed the band on my watch, I went to put it on and found the clasp in my hand. It came loose from the band. It turns out the pin holding the buckle on band was not manufactured properly. I ended up using the pin off my previous wrist band, and all is fine now. --However, this is quality control issue and some thing I should not have discovered. I'm marking it 3 stars, as it could have resulted in me loosing my watch. Also, I did not even attempt to contact the seller. I had been without my watch for a week (since my last band broke after several years) and didn't want to wait on a new band. And I especially didn't want to send anything back.3Great looks, good fit, excellent priceThis is a very good wrist strap. I normally use metal straps, but I got this to replace the original rubber band on my new LG G Watch. I have the watch's "white" model, but it's only white underneath, and the screen is black, so the strap matches pretty well and I've been complimented on it a few times. I find that it looks equally good wearing jeans or wearing more formal business attire. It is indeed genuine leather, and as such it smells, feels and looks very well.The strap has, to my liking, a few drawbacks. First, as other reviewers have noted, it is rather stiff. It does soften after just a couple days use, though. Second, it seems geared towards thicker wrists than mine. I have to use it at the second-to-last hole, which aggravates the stiffness issue. Third, one of the holders is sewn in place and I think it's just too close to the buckle. If, like me, you have thin wrists, you'll have to pass a long section of the strap under this holder, and it being so closely situated to the buckle, and the strap being relatively stiff, makes it rather difficult to put it on. I hope that as time passes and the stiffness gives way this is less difficult, but my main concern is not difficulty getting it on, but that the holder eventually snaps.In all, I'm very happy I got this strap -- it really helps offset the boxy, boring nature of my (otherwise pretty good and cheap) Android Wear watch.4Comfort, beauty and quality abound.After restoring my grandfathers 46 year old Seiko, I knew I had to put a Hadley-Roma on it. I've heard nothing but good things about the brand online so after a little searching around, I picked this bad boy up to finish the restore. First, it looks gorgeous. It has a tiny hint of red in it and looks great with the contrast stitching. More importantly, it feels wonderful on the wrist. After about a week, it is plenty broken in and sits perfectly. The build quality is great, however the loops are a bit thinner than some others I've seen. As long as the stitching holds it together, I don't see this being a problem.If you looked at this band in your considerations, buy it. Hadley-Roma makes awesome stuff and I will definitely be buying though them again!5
