    Low Profile Dyed Cotton Twill Cap - Lt. PinkI have hair loss due to chemo so I was looking for a cap to wear when I didn't want to wear a wig. Since I have a rather small head, many caps are just too large for me. This one fits well. The color is a soft pink just as pictured. 4NOT LOW PROFILEI agree with the reviewers saying the hat they recieved was NOT low profile as advertised- I was really hoping they were wrong. This hat is HUGE it makes me look like a little kid wearing their dad's hat. Complete waste of money and unfair to send customers a misadvertied product. Someone would need a huge head to consider this low profile. Maybe some of the color selections are low profile but the red is NOT 1Finally...a hat for a lady with a small-ish head!I ordered the peach color which is super cute. I love that it doesn't sit high too on my head like most hats, the Velcro close in the back (which I prefer but are REALLY hard for me to find), the material - literally everything about this hat. I have tried wearing a child size hat in the past, and they do fit my head better, but the bills look silly because they are proportioned for a child size face, not an adult one. I will be purchasing other colors. Love! 5Cheap and not low profileI own many low profile Twill Caps. These are not low profile, or, at least the ones I received (I ordered 2) were not low profile. In fact, the hats appear to be "seconds" with stitching irregularities. The hat also has a very weird shape where the top just looks very odd and is very high profile as if the fabric was not cut properly. I tried really hard to justify keeping these until my wife saw it on me and just laughed. I just returned them. 1Some reviewers are saying the hats fit great and some reviewers are saying what they received is ...Some reviewers are saying the hats fit great and some reviewers are saying what they received is not a low profile hat. The reason is that all of the hats on this page are NOT from the same seller. The putty color is from a different seller from the rest and the putty hat I received does not match the corresponding picture on this page, which made me pretty angry. I ordered two hats, and didn't pay any attention to the seller names. I assumed all the hats were all identical except for color. At least, that's what the corresponding pictures told me. The black hat I ordered was low profile and fit very snug on my head like I had expected. The putty hat I ordered was definitely not low profile. You can see this difference easily in the picture I attached. Notice the difference in crown height and stitching. I complained directly to the seller of the putty hat and was granted an immediate refund. When I told him that I actually was looking for a white hat, he said he would try to find me one and contact me. I never heard back. At least I got the refund. 2Hat rouletteAs other reviewers have mentioned, you may get what you're looking for, you may not. I only wear low-profile caps with velcro closures. I purchased two of this item, a blue and a cactus green. They arrived on the same day from from two different vendors.As you can see, they have identical product labels.They are both cotton twill caps, with velcro closures, nicely made -- BUT -- while both caps measure 6" from button to side seam, the front seams are very different. The blue cap measures just shy of 6" at the front seam, giving it a low-profile fit. The green cap measures closer to 6-1/2" at front seam, and it fits completely differently, coming down over the top of my ears.I'm keeping the blue cap and returning the green. Good luck if you order! 2Reviewers said that it was a perfect fit for a "pinhead"...I read many of the reviews before I purchased this hat... most of them said that it was a perfect fit for a "pinhead". There is no way that I could have received the same hat as the hat that those people received!!!!! I cannot wear this hat; it is way too big! What a disappointment! And what purpose do reviews serve if all the people are not receiving the same product!???! For me this hat has a no star rating! It is not useable! But I will put one star because I must in order to submit this report....The bag the hat was in says "Putty W39S55D". There is no color name on the hat but it is a cream color, not putty. There are two numbers on the hat: RN 129231 and 7470K/#752A. The number on the bag is not anywhere on the hat.Furthermore, the reason I ordered this hat was because I cannot find a small hat here in Costa Rica; I could have bought a too big hat HERE without paying shipping and customs! 1The perfect hat - almostI have bought quite a few hats this year. I've always liked baseball hats, but not the way I look in them. And, there are times and places where you need a hat. Most of the hats I have bought are cheap, or the bill is flat/odd, or the hat is too tall(I'm not an umpire!), or there is something else going on that makes me dislike it. None of that is a problem with this hat. One more thing: I am very particular about what I wear.Color - The hat is a good black, not an 'optical blue'. If you soak it a few times, it releases a lot of dye, but retains its color. After several months, lots of sun, and occasional rain, it is still black. I have a couple of other colors; they are all true to the pictures, bleed color initially if soaked(but retain their color) and look good. (In case you're wondering, I soak all my hats and bandanas to get the excess dye out of them. I have been caught in heavy rain with a new hat and had it bleed all over my clothes.)Shape - The bill is exactly the right shape. There is no need to bend, shape, or wear it sideways. The shape of the hat makes it clear how it should be worn. The low profile is also good. It sits pretty much right on top of your head, without much space. The hat doesn't have panel backings or anything to make it round in the front and crushed in the back; it's the same all around.Overall, this is a really good all-around hat, and if you want a low-profile hat, you will like it in many colors. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is that because it's not shaped, the front of the hat may tend to fold in around the seam on the front panels. That said, it is still a great hat. 4Slightly small, not as green as appeared.The hat was slow in arriving -- I thought it was two day shipping, but it got here about a week after I ordered. That was fine, amazon contacted me and let me know, I wasn't having a hat emergency or anything.I have a large head (to fit all my brains in), so the size might not be an issue for other buyers. If you're well-endowed in the noggin department, this hat might be too small. (It is adjustable, but the hat itself might sit too high on your head... know what I mean? Yeah you do, you big-headed dear, you.My issue is more about the color. I realize my monitor color might be off a little, but I was fully expecting this to be a deep, rich green, based on the picture. The hat I received is more of a green/khaki hybrid. Maybe my pictures will show the difference I see. I'm not returning it. It's a hat. It will do its hat job well. Will it do its job well while also bringing out my sparkling blue eyes? Unfortunately not. Luckily I won't be looking at it as often as the people around me. 3Perfect FitI have had a lifelong journey of looking for a low profile cap with no emblems and no allegiance to any team. I just wanted a black hat a simple black hat. I found this one by chance and I went ahead and bought it with the drawback of not being able to try it on. I have tried on the one size hats at the local hat store and they would not cover my head as I would like and always felt like it wouldn't come down enough and it was merely sitting on the top of my head uncomfortably. Most low profile hats don't feel like they come down and touch the tops of behind my ears when its on my head. I usually don't like adjustable hats but I decided that it wouldn't be that big of a deal which it isn't and since most low profile hats don't fit me right it would be o.k. To my surprise it fit me absolutely perfect just like I wanted it too and I could pull it down as far as I wanted and the top didn't look like one of my brothers trucker hats. The price is cheap and its perfect for me so I feel like I got a good deal.UpdateAfter a couple years or so it has finally started to fall apart and I decided to get another. The exact same hat and model number from Amazon yet the new one fits completely different and I might even say uncomfortable. Its not really that low profile nor does it come over my face much. I noticed this new one is made in Bangladesh and the good one I have from the first purchase is made in China. The difference is noticeable in the looks and the fit. I really don't like the new one at all but decided for the price not to send it back. I noticed there are eight stitches on the hats bill for the good fitting made in China hat that I love. The other is four stitches so know this my review is for a different hat but I guess they no longer have it anymore. I even used my past purchases to go into the page to purchase the hat and I also the model number is the exact same though it is a different hat. Last note the picture on the profile of the item isn't the same as I received. So maybe they just sent the wrong hat. I don't know but beware and know that the hat I got the first time was the hat of the Gods. 5
