Handy washclothsThese nylon washcloths can be thought of as bath poofs but flat. You only need a little soap to make a good lather. They are not soft, and will exfoliate your skin, but I like that. You will run out of lather quickly so will need to reload with more soap, but overall I find I use less soap than with a cotton washcloth. I also like that when you're done, just put a little more soap and squish it around to clean the cloth, rinse well and hang up. It will dry quickly, and no need to throw into a washing machine! 4Fantastic washcloth for frequent travelers/backpackersThese things are fantastic. I've had two for the past few years, and have used and abused them and they still look just like new. I love the exfoliating and lathering properties of a loofah, and these replicate that pretty well.I prefer to travel with only a carry-on bag, so I'm very limited in how much body wash I can bring with me, and I often stay in hostels which don't provide towels or toiletries. Using these allows you to use less soap because of how well they lather, which is a huge benefit for longer trips. Additionally, I can wring one of these out, hang it up, and it dries in minutes...way faster than any other washcloth I've owned. If you like to shower in the morning, then you know how valuable it is to not have to put a wet washcloth in your bag! Finally, the small elastic loop is great for hanging this around a shower head or knob, and then it can be used to secure the rolled up washcloth when you are finished.I have loved these washcloths and will be purchasing new ones whenever my current ones finally give up! 5Best washcloths ever!These are the best washcloths ever! Especially for backpackers/frequent travelers! I have been around the world with these more than once. I've been to all seven continents carrying these washcloths. They are lightweight, dry absurdly fast, and are nicely abrasive. If you have super-sensitive skin you may not love using them as a washcloth, but I don't have sensitive skin and I appreciate the ability to get a nice semi-abrasive wash.And you seriously don't understand how fast these dry. You can use them in the bathroom of a train station, attach them to the exterior of your backpack, start walking to your train, and they'll be dry before you board. In fact, the little elastic loop that is attached to them and super convenient for hanging them on shower knobs or whatnot, that little elastic loop dries slower than the rest of the washcloth. The washcloth is always bone dry when I go to put them away and I can still feel a little dampness on the elastic loop.I seriously can't say enough nice things about these washcloths. I absolutely love them, and will continue to carry them on all my travel adventures! 5Camping hygieneI bought these for backpacking use, and they're fantastic. They weigh nothing, and take up about as much space as a chapstick. The self cleaning aspect is just the loose weave, and nylon material. Nothing can stick to it essentially, so it doesn't hold a lather well either, but that's a trade-off. The plus side is that it dries almost instantly. The little elastic loop on the corner is handy for hanging it out, and for tying around it rolled up for packing. The coarseness is perfect too, lightly exfoliating for good cleaning, but not at all harsh. Since it was a two pack, I gave one to my wife, who immediately fell in love with it. She wants one just to wash her face with every day now... for any type of travel use, I would 100% recommend this product. 5Awesome for travel!I purchased these based off reviewed for travel. I am backpacking in Europe this summer and was told most places there don t offer washcloths. I use one a day for my face, and another for my body. I couldn t imagine traveling and not having something but I didn t have room for much.Checked these out ahead of time for my trip and I can tell I m really going to like them! The package came with two, which was perfect, and they are super lightweight and have the type of exfoliation I was looking for. There were little pieces of the nylon when I took one of them out of the package, so I m hoping it s not coming apart, but it didn t seem like it was. I m excited that I found these and they work for my particular needs! 5The Washcloth You Have Always WantedWow, this is exactly what I was looking for, it is like a bath puff / washcloth. It is perfect for traveling, as it folds small and dries fast. I use it at home too. It is a little abrasive, but that is what you need to remove dead skin cells. The first time is the worst, after that your body will adapt to the sensation. I was able to get a great soapy lather with a small amount of liquid body wash. I use it on my face, and it seems to exfoliate as well as my Clarisonic Mia. The only negatives are: I wish it came in more colors (plan to buy the dish cloths to get yellow and green), and the price is a high for what you receive. I would prefer a bigger set with 5-10+ cloths in multiple colors. If they increased the cloths in the set, it would help to offset the shipping costs. I do love the product, and I have already purchased 2 sets and have the dish cloths in my Amazon Cart as I type this review. The washcloths are exactly what I have been wanting for years. I highly recommend the product. 5Better than NothingI purchased two of these "washcloths" for travel when hotels do not always provide facecloths. Sure enough - I encountered the issue on a recent trip to Europe. I was feeling quite clever at having foreseen this problem and having found a solution for it, however, when I put this "cloth" to use, it was probematical. Because it is a plastic mesh, it does not absorb water - hence - it drips all over! It works best in the shower, where dirpping water makes no difference. However, when trying to wash my face prior to sleep, water was all over the sink, couontertop, and floor. That being said, it does do the job the advertising says it will do - you can wash your face/body/child with it and its friciton will make you cleaner. The scratchiness is not extreme - you will not be injured using it. It does dry quickly - I rolled mine into a towel prior to repacking and it was fine at my next desetination. If only it didn't make such a mess! 2Not the miracle cloth that it seems but handy for travel or camping or exfoliating.While this will never replace my regular wash cloth it will come in handy for travel and/or camping or when I really want to exfoliate.This wash cloth is very rough and very thin and flimsy. It does a great job of exfoliating, which is not something you want to do daily. Since it's so thin and flimsy it doesn't hold its shape well which makes it difficult to use as a wash cloth. I tried holding it flat in my hand but it flopped over and didn't work well that way. I finally scrunched it up and used it like a bath puff which worked OK but then it was pretty tiny. For those reasons I prefer to use a regular wash cloth unless I really need to scrub my skin because it's real dirty or because I want to exfoliate.This would be great though for travel especially to foreign countries that do not provide wash cloths in their hotel rooms, (such as Iatly), because ti dries so fast. You can shower with it the evening before you leave, or even that morning and pack it up shortly afterward. There's no need to put it in a plastic bag, as it will dry out quickly and be ready to go at your next destination.The quick drying and ability to rinse it out completely also make it very useful for camping. It won't get musty.Now as to the claim that it's self cleaning, well I'd take that with a grain of salt. You're using this to wash your body and you're washing your body for a reason, it's dirty. That dirt does transfer to the cloth. Yes it does rinse out nicely but there's a limit. When you think about what may be on your body, (especially in certain areas - think e-coli), it's probably a good idea to wash this periodically. It may be rinsable and quick drying but it can't kill germs and let's face it, there are germs on your body. 4Packs well and doesn't stinkThese washcloths work exactly as a advertised. They dry almost instantly--you can roll them up in a towel or something similar, or even spin them around to expel the water (if you grew up without a salad spinner, you'll know what I mean). They take up virtually no room in the toiletry bag and don't smell bad even on a two-week trip. They're vastly superior to the microfiber ones, which are bulkier and take a comparatively long time to dry.Surprisingly--because they're made of some kind of poly mesh--they're not the least bit scratchy. I use them to wash my face as well as to shower. 5Has other uses than as a wash cloth!I bought these to take backpacking as they made of extra light material and they dry really quickly. I didn't have to worry about packing a wet washcloth, they literally dry in a few minutes. They are really like one of those scrubby pads you use to wash pans or one of those shower scrubby things. I didn't actually buy them for use as a washcloth. as I knew they would be a little rough for my skin. I bought them to use to wash my bowl, cup and cooking pan while backpacking and the other one I cut and sewed it into a little carry bag for my pStyle PUD because the material is breathable and again it dries quickly. So it was nice to have something to store the pStyle outside my pack while I hiked and let it basically air dry out after I used it and rinsed it off. Excellent product for hikers and backpackers. 5
