But I'm wondering if I will have to get an 8.Will update review once I get correct size.1Good cheap snow boots.Looking for good, cheap, relatively water proof boots? These are it. I'm a 11.5, almost a 12 size shoe. 11s are almost always too small. 12s, depending on the brand, fit me okay. 11.5s are ridiculously popular and hard to find. These don't come in half sizes so I got a 12. They fit very well. Not too long at all, and the width was okay. I'm a little wide-footed and these still fit me fine.These are very loose at the shin area but can be tightened via the shoelace. The leather part you see around the lower ankle actually kind of rubber-bands around your foot, keeping it from slipping in and out of the boot.The inside has a very nice furry/fleece type finish. However...the sole/heel of the interior of the boot is as flat and hard as can be. Sure, it's got that fleece material, but it's still rock hard. Get some gel shoe inserts or double up on socks and you'll be okay.Time will tell how well these will hold up and how truly waterproof they are. Just from a bit of stomping around in the snow (we just had a 30" blizzard), they seem pretty good. The top section is made of material that dries out pretty fast too.4Very warm, solid bootI purchased these for my 11 year old son. We didn't want to spend a ton since his feet are still growing but these have been fantastic. I can't speak to the long term wear yet but the construction seems very solid. He has spent hours at a time playing in the snow and his feet have stayed warm and dry. I wasn't sure what to make of the liner being removable but it's turned out to be a really good feature since they can be dried and cleaned very easily.4it'd have been better if it were permanentThese did their job as they kept the kid and the boyfriend's feet warm and dry. I've lived in the Adirondacks for almost 60 years and I know a little about boots. These are great quality, warm and dry with a solid sole.5Don't buy them. Just don't.The quality of these boots is very poor. The sole (if you can call it that, it seemed to be cardboard?) came apart within the first two nights of wearing them on my shift. They also seem to leak a bit so lets not call them waterproof. The boots no matter how tight I tie them never seem to fit snug so they always feel like they are loose, I would think maybe I should have went with a smaller size but my foot fit fine they just don't tighten enough. The only redeeming quality is the materials aside from the sole seem to be nice quality for the price.2Great price and comfortableI bought these boots for my rapidly growing 12 years old with 11.5 2E feet. I wanted boots that were warm, comfortable and a good price. I doubt these would fit by next year. The boots exterior is waterproof, both the bottom and top materials. The insert is a plush, synthetic fleece insert that can be removed and washed if needed. It's actually a smart design because it makes the boots very comfortable. He has worn them all winter including a ski trip to Vermont. So, I can honestly say they have been boy tested. These boots would also work without the insert if you wanted to wear them for warmer/muddier conditions.4
