    Perfect for Swim Lessons!Bought a 2T for my daughter who just turned two this month. It's a bit long but she has to wear a swim diaper and cover at swim lessons until fully potty trained. The extra length is perfect for this! I would recommend this product - well made (I always pay close attention to stitching) and comfortable for my little swimmer!5They run larger! 5 year olds in 3T PRETTY!!!!!These suits do not run small they actually run large. I have to five-year-old girls and they are wearing 4T and 5T clothing. My girls, God willing, will be six years old in June. I tried the 4t swimsuit and it was a little large in the rear end as my girls are quite slender. Average height for their age as well. However, swimsuits stretch out in the water overtime and I did not want them to have a saggy crotch area! So I returned the 4t and ordered 3t and they fit perfect. So you must use your judgment call ! It will not let me add a photograph.5Colors fade terriblyI have a petite four year old - the 3T size fits perfectly. I like the fit of the suit - the design is super cute. Huge problem- after one trip to the indoor pool followed by a wash - the suite is a completely different color. The rich purple is now magenta. The suit is still cute but I don't have much confidence in this suit lasting through winter swim lessons. I've purchased Kanu surf swimwear in the past and there is definitely a change in the quality of the fabric used - at least in regards to being color fast.3Nice swimsuit - wrong sizing!I have no idea how 70% people say this is true to size? I ordered 1 size up from US clothes size my daughter wears and it was still so small she could not get the shoulder straps on (suit was too short). The provided size chart is so basic - my daughter is slim-normal build but tall. The size chart only had weight and age and by those standards the swimsuit was way too short.5Best swimsuits everI wanted something modest but cute for my 3 daugthers. These are perfect.I ordered a size down. For example, my 13 year old got a size 12. My 11 year old got a size 10, and my 8 year old got a size 7. They fit perfectly. I mean perfect. They are thick too. Good quality. I'd love to order them another set in different prints.5Disappointed with the decline in qualityWe live in south Florida and swim in both chlorine and salt water many times a week. I used to love this brand swimsuit since the ones I've ordered in the past would hold their shape and colors very well for almost a year. This suit I ordered in July and it is now stretched beyond being wearible and faded terribly in less than 2 months time.2Re-ordering in a Larger Size: Sizes Run Quite SmallVery cute but using only my daughter's height on their adorable sizing chart would have proven extremely unsuccessful. Even after ordering two sizes up due to other reviews that suggested to size up, the top of the swim suit was still very short on her. When I re-order we will be trying the 14 and their size chart put her in an 8! My child may have a booty but she is very well proportioned, this suggests to me that these sizes, indeed, run a bit small!3Very Cute, Uses Lesser Quality ThreadI purchased this for my daughter because she was growing out of her old swimsuit, and we are usually at a swimming pool once a week now doing one of her brother's public therapy modules. She loves to go to the pool, so I always make sure this is a module we do with her, so a comfortably fitting swimsuit is a must. She thought this one was really pretty, so it is the one we ordered.So, it definitely fits her as it should. I would like to note, however, if you have a daughter who has breasts developing, this is very low cut and doesn't have any cup room in it at all. They or you may end up feeling uncomfortable with how much shows in that event. For right now, we are in the free and clear when it comes to that, but it's something that we may have to keep an eye on. It is not part of my rating, but an FYI for you.What is part of my rating is the thread quality. I would like to draw your attention to the picture I put up, which was taken before she ever wore it into a pool or for anything other then trying it on to make sure it fit. Notice how you can see the individual thread fibers and it looks like unspun filaments? What this means in practical terms is that this thread is going to rip apart easier, and it's not going to last as long or be especially durable. Right now, we're going to the pool once a week. I expect we will probably make it through the next three months or so, at which point the lower cut nature of the top may require us to replace it anyways. I looked at the thread after today's outing, and it was a bit more gummed up, but so far none of the threads have actually broken, but I'm fairly certain based on what I've seen this type of thread do in the past we can expect it to happen. I have a swimsuit that used this type of thread that had thread breakage after my first wear. So, as a consumer, I would urge this company to actually spend a few extra cents and go with a higher quality thread.As a reviewer, I'm giving you a heads up that this may not have the durability you want or need. I would also like to mention that the seams don't have careful backstitching on the swimsuit we purchased and received. Backstitching is the process that locks seam ends into place and keeps them from unraveling. It's been done on her suit, but unfortunately I have to report that it was not done well, there are only one or two stitches that actually overlap, so I also expect I will need to repair seams for that reason as well before we're ready to replace it thanks to mother nature.Otherwise, the print is very pretty and striking, and she's really happy with it and loves the colors. But FYI on the other points...if you rarely go into the pool, these things may not be concerns for you.46 yo. 48" tall, about 50lb little girl. fits perfect size 6xThis swimsuit fit my little girl perfectly. She's 6 yo. 48" tall, about 50lbs. I ordered a little girls 6x. She's worn it a few times now and loves it. It covers everything conservatively. My only complaint is that I had to cancel from one vendor due to back order issues, and reorder with someone else. Amazon came thru though and I got it on time.5Great fit, great suit for my six year old!Update as of July 2019: We still own this suit. It has gone through a million washes with detergent and mixed clothing and towels! The elastic is still strong, the colors are still rather bright and the fit is still great. Totally recommend for beach and/or pool.Ordered this colorful swim suit for my six year old daughter. I ordered a size eight - she is 95th percentile for height and weight. The size eight fits her body type nicely.The color is bright and vibrant. The material is a nice thickness/weight for a swimsuit. I like that it is good quality brand with SPF. The straps and edges appear well sewn.My daughter does a lot of swimming in chlorine and we go to the beach a lot. I ll need update this review after she s put this suit through a season!5
