The KANO SPORTS Light BJJ Jiu Jitsu Gi with Preshrunk Fabric is the new industry standard. This gi is perfect for anyone just starting all the way up to a professional. Shrink no more! The KANO SPORTS Light BJJ Jiu Jitsu Gi is already made with preshrunk fabric so that you don't have to worry about the gi shrinking after your first wash. We know this is a common issue with most gis on the market so we made the effort to address that before you receive them from us. However, we still recommend that you wash the gi in cold water and hang dry it. Please note that some very minimal shrinking may occur IF you wash it in hot water AND dry it in a dryer, this can be ideal if you actually want it to fit a little tighter than what it currently is, assuming you're in between sizes. Our very detailed size chart should allow you to find the correct size for you. If you notice, our sizes will accommodate just about any body size. Since we actively train ourselves, we know what it means to have a comfortable Gi while training , we've designed a tapered fit so that it doesn't have any excessive material that a traditional gi may have. If you already own a gi from someone else, you'll immediately be able to tell the difference in quality and fit. We made this from a light-weight fabric because we understand how hot it can get during training and competitions. A comfortable gi is step one towards being a better athlete and a light gi is just part of being comfortable while training and the during competition.
