SuggestionI love these sweatpants, I bought several pair. I just wanted to address some reviewers' complaints about the continuous loop by the elastic band, making it difficult to get a good fit around the waist. The simple solution is to cut the loop in the rope and tie the two ends into separate knots. This way you have two strands and can tie them like a pair of shoes. Just make the knots large enough, so they don't slip back into the slits of the pants. Good quality at a good price. 5An excellent value - my new go-to sweatpantsI put these up against the same size (large) Champion sweats, which I love. Fabric thickness is very close, though the Champion weave is perhaps a bit tighter. Waist and length are the same. The only real difference is the Jerzees leg is around an inch and a half narrower (when placed flat on top of the Champions). I actually like that better. Still lots of room, just not as baggy. Plenty of room to fit over my gym shorts when I'm getting ready to head to the gym. The other big difference: the price; the Jerzees are a much better value. They'll be my go-to sweats from now on. 5NICE SWEATS - SLOW 6 Day DELIVERYThese sweats are good quality aside from the fact that the stitching is weak in the croch area and ended up with holes you can put your finger through - thank God I have a Lady friend that knows how to sow.NOW ABOUT THESE XL RED JERZEES SWEAT PANTS - They fit more snug around the waist and legs vs my Russell's. I'm 6'1" 225lb male with thin legs and moderate size belly to help you decide because if they shrink much when washed I will have wished I got a size larger - Russell's allow for shrinking no problem. Plenty of leg length, color is rich and strong, material is very good quality, elastic around the waist and ankles is good, and finally pockets are plenty deep. WHAT I LIKED MOST ABOUT THESE VS THE RUSSELL'S IS THEY DO NOT SHED LINT ALL OVER MY ROOM AND AROUND THE HOUSE. I'm constantly picking up lint being shed from the inside of the Russell's.AGAIN - THEY TEND TO SPLIT IN THE CROCH AREA. 3They are wonderful soft sweats and perfect for winterThey are wonderful soft sweats and perfect for winter. You can't trust some that say 1X is 1X but let me tell you, they mean it!! There sweats are true to size. 5Not Only Men Like These Sweatpants.With the change of seasons seeming to come a bit early this year. I was thankful for this purchase.I tend to buy the men's sweatpants for fall/winter wear. As they tend to be thicker and more durable then those made for ladies.Smalls or medium tend to fit me best with the drawstrings. I especially like the elastic cuffs at the ankles.This is my 2nd autumn /fall season with them. I have had no problems with shrinking or holes in the seams of these pants and plan to buy more. Would certainly recommend this product to others. 4My Sweatpants keep falling down.Sweats themselves fit fine and the material is great for winter. But, the waistband is horribly loose, it doesn't shrink down. First, the elastic is weak. Second, I think it's not being properly prestretched during production. I wear a medium for 30 years and these fall off even carrying an extra 15 pounds after shoulder surgery. I even tried the small, which are tight/constricting, and even those will not stay up. The elastic just doesn't work like it should.You know when one of the elastics gets blown out around the ankle? The worst part is you have to pay to ship them back and then they charge you a 20% restocking fee! This equates to about 60% of the cost so you may as well cut them up to use as a dust cloth. I will never again do business with this company. Message to Jerzees - put correct sizing on your products instead of skimping on material. 1Good SweatpantsThese sweatpants are made of good material. They are not as heavy as some brands, but are still soft and warm. The waistband and cuffs are double stitched, and all seams are well sewn. They are not tight, nor baggy. I would recommend these to a friend.UPDATE: After three months of intermittent wear, along with four other pairs of sweatpants, I was pulling them up, and my left thumb went through a burst seam, at the top of the left pocket. I am surprised, because I have other pairs of the same brand of sweatpants that are holding up well after two years of use. Although the full seam wasn't unraveled, I sewed the entire length of the open seam. I have attached a couple of photos to show the damaged seam. I know that the sewing isn't pretty, but as an old soldier who repaired his own clothes through the years, it will last as long as any other seam. I would still recommend these. 4
