    Sophisticated with a vintage feelI bought this hat for my fiance as a gift and he wears it all of the time. He's in his twenties and initially I was worried this hat might look too old for him, but it doesn't at all. Its both sophisticated, but also something he can wear casually (and does all of the time). The quality is great and I think it's going to last for a long time. We went ahead and ordered a second in a different color. It also matches almost all of his clothing and fits (and flatters) his head perfectly.5Ililily flat capAn attractive, lightweight cap; is made from man made materials, but difficult to differentiate unless closely, and carefully examined. Fits well on a medium sized melon, because of an elastic band on back. Even though it's all man made materials, it does look enough like leather to fool the casual observer. This is my new favorite knock around hat and I don't care what the weather is like. A little rain? Don't care. If the hat gets soaked it just dries out and looks as good as new.The hat fits really well too. I was a little concerned that the internal elastic band would be too tight, but is has broken in nicely and not it just fits snugly. I have an average size head, but a big head of hair so I need a large size hat. This hat is just right for me.5Very shiny and Very Dark, more urban than old fashionedI bought the Dark Brown, as the picture of the light brown looked almost beige in color. The product I received is VERY dark-it would appear black in low lighting. I think all 4 colors of these hats are the same color, but than have some kind of paint or dye applied to produce the 4 different colors. It's also very shiny, so it has more of an urban look than old fashioned.Depending on taste this might be perfect, or might not be what you're looking for. As far as construction and fit, I think it's a pretty good deal.3Fools MeI ordered this hat to go with a new genuine suade coat and really wanted a real leather hat to go with it... I was afraid this 'faux leather' might give a 'cheap' appearance and detract from the coat... WRONG...
