Customer Reviews

Last for 5 years of everyday use with a convenient set of pockets. Love it!Yes, I'm still stuck in the fashion of a few decades ago and embarrass my daughter by wearing a "fanny pack". But I hate carrying purses and with a big family I like having my hands free. I've used this bag for over 10 years now, and am on my 2nd of this brand. They wear great, year after year, day after day.I also love the pocket arrangement. The main pocket is big enough to hold my Galaxy Tab, wallet and keys. There is a second pocket just as wide, but a little thinner. I keep papers, cash, cards and chapstick in this one. Then the smaller pocket on the front is perfect for a small first aid supply of bandaids and ointment that I pass out regularly at the park, soccer games, etc. The phone pocket is for older style flip open "dumb-phones" but I still happen to own one, so it works great for me.Even if you don't use it for everyday carrying, it is also great for the occasional outdoor hike, camping trip, or to carry snacks and supplies at an amusement park.Very durable, useful, and inexpensive. I'll be back in another 5 years for a third one. 5Crappy zippers & cheap seam binding ruin an otherwise excellent packThe quality seems to be OK - only time will tell how long it lasts. I'm keeping it because the back pocket - the one that is usually a thin envelope pocket - seems to be the main pocket. It is large enough for me to keep my full size 9mm in it - this is the reason I bought this pack. The zipper works fine on this pocket - it zips a gentle curve over the top. The very front smallest pocket and the 2nd front pocket that this little pocket is on also has a good zipper. The problem is the front large pocket - the one that has a zipper that goes up the side about an inch and half, across the top and down the other side about an inch an half. This zipper gets stuck every time I try to zip over the 90 degree corner. The cheap, flimsy, thin seam binding on the inside constantly gets stuck every time I try to zip this too-tiny-toothed zipper over the corners. I have decided to keep the pack and just not zip that pocket fully closed over the 90 degree corner and just not unzip it all the way over the other 90 degree corner. Hopefully the larger items I keep in that pocket won't fall out. 2Not as describedNot as described, smaller size! 1On the fence with this oneI recently bought this for the purpose of dog training treats and other training products. I am a larger female, so I was happy to find that the strap was big enough to fit around me with room to spare. There is plenty of room to carry the items I need to run, play & train with my puppy. The downside is that the main compartment which is the upper zipper that you can see on the left in the product photo is a real headache to deal with. The problem with the zipper is it catches on the inside every single time I unzip it all the way open. It is not a thin piece of material that usually will be the problem on other items that we all run into now and then. It is very thick and is very hard to maneuver out of the way in order to zip it back up. You definitely need two hands to operate it. One hand needs to firmly hold that area in such a way to get the zipper to bypass it while moving the zipper with the second hand. When I say you need two hands, I mean you need two hands. You can leave it unzipped if you don't mind things falling out of it when you are bending over, however, I don't appreciate losing product. I really do like this item for the purpose that I bought it for but I still have an issue with that zipper! I have owned it for about a month now and just can't get over that problem. The back-most pocket will fit any phone on the market, I am pretty darn sure of that. The next pocket (moving forward) has got plenty of room. I put various treats in empty, washed and dried prescription bottles. This works out pretty darn well, since I can't zip and unzip without a struggle. If one of these bottles falls out, I can hear it and know to pick it up. I usually have a couple of the larger size bottles that I previously described, a clicker (when being stored and not in use) and a tennis ball in that pocket. All of that fits in there just fine. The two pockets in the front are good for a number of other things such as car keys, money, ID, Credit or Debit cards, pony tail holders, etc. Just use your imagination. If you are like me and just can't get over the simply things being wrong (which in this case is only one thing - the zipper on the main pocket), look for another product similar to this. Trust me, that is not a small annoyance for a person that wants to get in and out with ease. The quality of the material from which it is made seems to be strong and durable, however, I have only had it one month. The strap is your typical strap that you would expect. I can tell you that my puppy has grabbed and pulled on it and I do not see any damage to the strap. I would rate this a 4 star if that one zipper was not such a problem.I hope this review is helpful to anyone shopping. 3Roomy, tough, and stylish for what it isI recently ordered this fanny pack for use on a trip to Walt Disney World with my family. Now that I've returned from my trip, below are my impressions on this item.Pros:- Very roomy; it has a velcroed cell phone pocket (flip-phone sized) and 4 other zippered pockets. The two largest pockets will hold a lot of stuff.- Fits a husky guy. The description says that it fits waists up to 42 inches, but based on my experience, it will comfortably fit a guy with a waist several inches larger.- Although it's roomy, it's not bulky in and of itself when you wear it (although if you stick bulky things in it, of course, it will be bulky).- It looks good (for a fanny pack)- The material it's made from (denier polyester) is tough and rain resistant.- It's very inexpensive for what you get!Con:- I found the zippers to be a bit stiff to open, although the zippers did have large "tabs", which helped somewhat.Overall, I highly recommend this fanny pack. It will fit a wide variety of shapes, holds a lot of things, looks good, and is inexpensive. And based on the how it held up on my vacation, I would expect it to last for years. 5Roomy, Affordable, and FunctionalThis is a great little fanny pack. I wanted one for a recent trip to Florida, seeing as I did not want to walk around with a heavy purse on my shoulder or strapped across my body in the airport. This little bag delivered exactly what I needed. The back compartment was perfect for my wallet, lipstick and such. The next forward pouch was perfect for my iPhone (6+) and my travel documents/boarding pass with identification. It was very easy to open this pouch, grab my documents or my phone, put them back in and go! The small pouch on the front is great for holding that tip money, or if you are a smoker, it can hold a pack of cigarettes and a lighter easy. The small zippered pouch on front of this can hold change or a few pieces of gum or candy. The only pouch I find to be useless is the taller velcro pouch on the left. It has an opening at the bottom, so be very careful what you place in this pouch. I guess a small bottle of hand sanitizer would fit nicely without worry of falling out.The strap is adjustable and I was truly surprised with the long length. I adjusted the strap to the full length and it actually slipped off of me - and I do have hips to hold it up so I have room to grow :) but preferably room to shrink. This waist pack would be purchased again if it came in other colors, but basic black always works for me as well. With 5 compartments - 4 zippered and 1 velcro - this bag should offer up enough space for just about anyone. Material is durable and I like the way the pack travels and the way it is holding up to my abuse.PROS : price, compartments, strap lengthCONS: None for me.I WOULD recommend this product 5Good fanny pack with many different compartmentsGood fanny pack with many different compartments. It can probably hold a lot more than you would expect. My only problem with it is that if you adjust the strap around your waist, there is nowhere to pin the excess (if that makes sense.) I have a tiny waist, so it looks like I have a tail! Beware of that if you think you'd have to adjust it quite a bit. 4perfect for puppy walks!! + basically my doggy diaper bagI have two housetraining puppies that need to be carried (one under each arm) down the hallway of my apartment building so they don't go on the floor on the way outside. this thing is a lifesaver, especially in bathroom emergencies! I keep their treats in an emptied-out Mentos container in that little velcro pocket in the front, then have the doggy bag dispenser in the adjacent pocket. Way in the front in the zip pocket, it snugly fits a credit card in case i need to stop at the bodega. The main compartments are generous and i've even put folded up weewee pads in them, as well as a couple little chew toys, AND my phone and keys. Whenever I walk the pups i just grab this thing and go.. I don't know what I would do without it!! 5Perfect, roomy, many compartments to separate things and holds an iphone 6 plus easily. It is hard to find a good waist pack,. I was hanging on to one I have had for 10 years, but then when I upgraded to an iphone 6 plus it no longer fit my phone. By then I was set in my ways on how I used my waist pack. This is not a bulky pack but it is so roomy. I can fit so much more and my iphone 6 plus easily fits in it. Love all the compartments to keep separate money, credit cards, hand sanitizer, etc. My dream waist pack. I know get a life. I am out in the field 3-4 times monthly so I get a lot of use out of this and so getting the right one did matter. 5Excellent value, durableThis is my second purchase of this item, the first having survived daily use over 5 summers and served me very well indeed. Eventually the heavy keyrings I carry poked holes through the fabric, but it held up to a lot of abuse and it proved to be a great value. The phone pocket manages to hold my cell phone (4" screen) safely, the zippers held up against thousands of openings and closings, and the collection of pockets made it easy to separate things as I do with my jeans in colder weather. The new one seems identical to the old, so materials have not been cheapened. My only demerit would be that the waist band fits me only when tightened to the very minimum, and the strap material does stretch a bit over time. The good news is that means it can handle very large diameter users, but for the narrow waist set (under 38") please be warned that you will probably have to cut off the end of the strap and re-sew a fold in it for best results. Without doing so the pack can still be made to fit you, but some extra strap material will hang off the end and in my experience it will slip, loosening, as you wear it. The easy fix is to cut off the extra material, fold the end of the strap and re-sew it such that it can not slip. In summary, this pack is an excellent value! 5
