    Hat can be dyed if you don't like the colorI bought the black and the oyster hat. Both fit me great with the adjustment set about in the middle position (I have a large 7 3/8" hat size). While the black one was definitely black, the "oyster" one was not the off-white color pictured by Amazon. It was just straight out beige in color. Being 100% cotton I decided to try and dye it to a completely different color. I found a recipe for maroon using Rit liquid dyes (4 oz of "Wine" mixed with a tbsp of "Dark Brown") that I got at Hobby Lobby and it came out great (picture attached). Notice the dye did not stick to the stitching. 4Happy with purchase!Got here in great time. Good price, good quality! I was nervous about how big it was at first, but there is an adjusting strap in the back which has a pocket to keep it out of sight! (See the pic where I am pointing to the back of the hat) I included a couple of pictures so you can see what it looks like! 5Excellent Go ToExcellent hat for the price. My fit wouldn't let me tuck the excess strap into the side grommet so I doubled it back over the buckle. It works out nicely. The construction is good and the hat feels durable enough to be an everyday go to from working on cars to hikes. No need to be precious with it. The only defect I've noticed was an errant thread on the brim. The army styling gives it a more formal and mature; yet still blue collar feel a traditional baseball cap can't match. 5Adjustment Strap Too Short for My L/XL HeadI bought two of these caps. The cap itself is fine. It seems well made and I like the style. I purchased it because I like the type of adjustment strap this cap offers. After adjusting the strap for my L/XL head the excess strap would not reach the slot intended to conceal the excess strap. Not only does the excess strap stick out, the empty slot shows the inside of the hat band. Basically the strap on both caps is too short for a L/XL head. Baseball style caps I have with similar adjustment straps easily allow the excess strap to be pushed into the concealment slot. It's not that the cap won't fit my head its just that the strap is too short to allow the end of the excess strap to be tucked into its slot. To me this looks bad, so I am returning them. FYI, the bills on these two caps are 2 1/8" long. While I wouldn't return them for this, I prefer a bill closer to 3". 2Not as I had hoped...I've got a really old model corps hat from this company. I love it, fits perfectly, had so many compliments, everyone wanted to know where I got it. That hat is now falling apart due to use and age. The top part has started to fray so the top of my head is exposed...haha. This hat just does not fit the same. The bill of the hat is short and the product image does not show that well at all. The hat is also way too big for me...and I have a big head. If I put that hat on all the way, the sides push down on my ears and make them bulge out. That looks dumb and is uncomfortable. If I don't put the hat on all the way down, then the hat looks goofy, floppy and lop-sided, and feels like it could easily fall off. Honestly, I don't like this hat and will probably never wear it. I just want to be able to get my old hat new again... :( 3Absolutely perfect fit for a girl with a large head.I got the Oyster colour and I'm always worried with hats, because they seem to always come in one size: Too SmallThis hat is large. My head is large and I have long hair, so I need a hat that's very accommodating. I have a heck of a time finding fitting hats and this one is just perfect. It fits over my head and actually fits. I've wasted so much money on ones that they kinda fit, but they sit on the top of my head, so if I tilt my head they just fall off. This one I can pull down to just above the top of my ears and it's a flawless snug fit. I'm happy with how large this hat is, and with the adjustment strap it'll fit people with a bigger or smaller head than mine.I was expecting this hat to be small and maybe mostly hopefully fit with the strap not being quite big enough (like the last one of this style that I got) and what I got was something that was larger than I was anticipating and a perfect fit right out of the box.Now, we'll have to see how it does when I eventually have to wash it.. and how much it holds up to abuse. I work as a technician and I wear a hat because of the places I have to go through and the hat keeps my head a little safer and clean/free of dust, spider webs, and other hazards of being in crawlspaces, attics, and dirty areas. I will try to update this review in a few months or a year, when I have an idea of how well it holds up to the heck I'll put it through.Update:So far the durability on it has been great, this poor hat has survived some rough conditions and saved my head from scratching on a nail while working in an attic. I've washed it about 10 times and just water soak rinsed it 25 now and since this hat is a light tan to begin with I haven't noticed any fade from washing, but it does appear lighter on the under side than top side. That may be sun fade or just hair products, sweat, and natural oils darkening it. Also the buckle doesn't corrode, it seems to keep quite nice looking. I'm really surprised by such reliable quality for such a low price. 5Perfect price for the perfect hat!I was looking for a hat to replace a very similar Columbia hat that I had worn out. I was skeptical that such an inexpensive hat could do that, but this hat is great! It is breathable and offers great sun protection, and it is so comfortable that I forget I am wearing it. It arrived flattened, but I was able to reshape it easily.The adjustable strap on the back means this hat can fit most head sizes and hairstyles, including a ponytail through the back. The size ranges from 6 3/4" to 7 3/4". This is a versatile hat that can be used for hiking, work, or casual wear. I ordered the black for some added UV protection, but I will definitely be ordering another color soon. 5Inconsistent sizing and color representationInconsistent size with the hat I previously bought from them. The pacific blue hat is more royal blue compared to their product shot. Would buy again though as my other hat has held up well. 3Nice hat with lots of room for adjustment.This hat is great. The adjustment strap is not velcro, which is nice, and the adjustment strap tucks neatly into a slot on the hat to avoid hanging out and flapping in the wind.The adjustment strap is very long, allowing for people with big heads or big hair to wear the hat comfortably. The bill is longer than other hats I've had, offering more protection from the sun.I like that it is organically grown, causing less toxic invasion of chemicals to our soil and earth, but it was made on the Asian continent thousands of miles from here, adding to its footprint. I would have preferred something made in Canada, Mexico, or the USA as they're much closer.The hat is very nice, functional, and adjustable. 5Love the hat and the priceI read many reviews on Amazon regarding it not fitting people with large heads. Having a large noggin, I was naturally a little concerned when I ordered it, but for the price (under $10), I figured worst case scenario I could give it to my kid if it didn't fit.The hat fits great. I'm not sure if the reviews claiming it being too small were written by individuals resembling The Great Gazoo or what, but I have tons of room to adjust the hat to accommodate a more spherically endowed cranium.In short, get the hat... You won't be disappointed regardless of your head size, unless you are freakishly like Sputnik. 5
