    Try them out!I ve been buying these pants for a few years and so far I ve liked them more than carhartt. In my honest opinion, they last just as long, if not longer. Seriously. The material is a little thin but I like my pants this way. If you re a slimmer guy I highly recommend these. They re not slim, more of a straight fit. But definitely not loose like most work pants.5You can wear them to church because they are "HOLY"! *dad jokes*The fit is spot on for my chunky butt. They're lightweight, thin, and stretchy. The pockets are slash style which is important to me (for my work knife, pens, etc. to clip and to still have room to bend over or put my hands in my pockets). But these pants have a HUGE downfall... because they're thin and lightweight, they don't last! Big bummer since I can't wear holey pants to work... and because I spent ~$30 on them... and because I only get about two months worth of usage before the knees rip out. This is the second pair I've tried and it looks like I'm going to have to move on. I'd post a picture of the blown out knees, but someone else already has and there's only so many pictures of holey pants the internet needs. FWIW, I've been through dozens of Dickies carpenter pants and they all tend to eventually tear up at the knees for me. Nature of my job I suppose, but these have been the fastest to do so. And Dickies discontinued my favorite model, so the hunt continues. Guess it might be time to switch over to the "C word" brand. Get your mind out of the gutter... I'm talking about Carrhhartt.230x30 is perfect fitMuch better fit than expected. A true regular fit. Loose but not baggy. Fits over my work boots and looks decent with shoes.I didn't give it the full 5 because the fabric isn't that real duck feel. Its flex fabric so it doesn't have the rigid 100% cotton feeling. I bought the original duck pants and the waist was WAY too tight at a 30x30. These fit as expected4YES! Great fit for folks who aren't overweight!It's so hard to find well fitting cloths for people who are actually at a healthy weight. Companies obviously cater to the masses and, unfortunately, the masses are over weight. If you're fit and at a healthy weight for your height, buy these! I see people complaining about the fabric being thin. Oddly, maybe because I read those reviews before buying my first pair, I thought that may be true when I first received my order. But after a few washes, these are just great pants and the fabric thickness feels just right. I now own 4 pairs and hope they never think about discontinuing these.5Nice fit but what about the belt loops?The only real negative about these pants so far is that the belt loops to the left and right of the zipper are A LONG WAY AWAY. When my belt is in the middle hole, the loose end dangles. I have to offset the buckle to have the loop cover the belt end.Other than that the fit and feel are pretty good and I like the other features of pockets, etc.4Great PantsAfter Levi's eliminated two belt loops for cost savings, I found their pants don't work for me at all. I tried Lee, and then Dickies.Dickies is much like the Old Levi brand, well made, fit well, very good QC, and they wear well.Beyond the fit, Dickies still has all the belt loops a good pair of pants should have.For those carrying anything on the waistband, those "extra" (according to Levi's) belt loops are a must, to keep the belt from riding up in the most inconvenient spots.My Dickies pants seem to last as long or longer than any of the Levi brand will, and the price is better too.I hope this is helpful.5Almost awesome....but not.These pants should be the best pants on earth for slim guys but they're NOT!!! They took the best material, the best fit, and best looking pants and ruined them. First: the first and last belt loop is a MILE apart. They are not even close to the button in the front. They are nearly above the front pockets. When you kneel down your belt flips onto your stomach and off the pants because there is a HUGE amount of space between the loops. To make this more frustrating, one of the four pairs I bought is absolutely PERFECT! The other three are completely stupid. Second: The front pockets are just plain silly for any pants let alone work pants. Others have had the same complaint. They have a huge opening but they're ridiculously shallow. That combination means everything you put in these pockets WILL fall out! This is all frustrating because these pants SHOULD BE the the best I've ever worn. They're not.3... don't weight a ton and don't make it look like I'm carrying a load in my pantsAt last a pair of work pants that don't weight a ton and don't make it look like I'm carrying a load in my pants.Been wearing these for about a week so far they are excellent . Only thing keeping me from 5 stars is the size of the front pockets as an electician I'm always putting things in my pockets and these seem a little narrow on the inside4Very thin material....Material is very thin. They are comfortable no doubt about that but that is about it. I m not sure if they will last a year or a few months without ripping. I m not even sure if it s the same pair of pant as shown in the picture. The material looks different then what I received. Not sure if I will return them or not. Too bad seems like Dickies quality has gone down the drain .. sad to see.2Poor fitThese pants are very lightweight and I m sure they would perform great, if they fit. The cut is very unproportional. The waist is bigger than expected, and the legs are very slim, almost like skinny jeans. They have a very small amount of flex, which is nice, but not enough to overcome the poor fit. I had high hopes for these pants considering I like all of their other products but unfortunately things don t cut it.2
