    It doesn't look like the photoIt doesn't look like the photo, however,, it does what I need it to do. I'm not a professional chef, but, I thought this would be a good addition to a costume. And plus my nieces and nephews love to wear it when they are helping us to cook.The biggest set back was the shipping. I ordered this in March, and got a notification that it was shipped on March 31st. And I just got it last week on May 4th!So costume wise, I would say this would be perfect. Or even something fun for the kids to wear when they help you cook (you may have to adjust it though). However, make sure that you order it a month in advance so that you get it in time. 3Perfect for Dress Up/Dramatic PlayI bought this hat for dress-up/dramatic play in our play kitchen, so here's my review from a parent's perspective:Quality: This hat is very well made. I would even recommend it for a preschool classroom - it seems that durable. I also appreciate the fact that it's machine washable.Size: The label says "one size fits all" and that's a true statement here. The velcro makes it resizable to fit either a child or an adult. It adjusts to hit both my 4-year old daughter and me and my husband just fine. We get a lot of laughs out of it.Dress up clothes can be ridiculously expensive so it's nice to get a high quality item for a decent price. 5Great Chef HatMy daughter is 11 and has wanted a chef hat for a very long time. I recently got her an apron that says Junior Chef on it (I was happy to find one that was not a toddler size) and then I got her this hat. She loves it! The velcro area is about 3.25" - 3.5" long, so there is plenty of room to grow (in fact she will never outgrow it), I'm impressed with the quality...I thought maybe the fabric they make this with would be thin, but it's not at all. There is a cute little tag sewed on the outside in the back that has the top of a fork on it. She wears this chef hat every time she cooks and bakes. Move over Cake Boss...you've got competition coming up! 5Great for HalloweenI wore this chef hat on Halloween since my baby boy was dressed as a lobster. The hat was well made and stayed on well the whole night. I liked that it was adjustable, since I am petite and thought I might have needed to order a kid's hat. It can fit anyone's head since you can adjust it. Definitely a great price for something I was only going to wear for one night. 5SUPER CUTE CHEF HAT!I got bored with the same hat and wanted something with a little more personality. This hat Velcros at the back so you can wear it to stay on good, but it's not too tight at all. If you have long hair, it can go up in a ponytail and since it's floppy, it doesn't look weird. The only thing that may concern some (not me) is that when you take off your apron, whatever way you styled the hat is messed up. But, after a few wears and looking in the mirror, I know how to pull it where I know it doesn't look dorky. I love that you can play with any look you want! It's made well and washes good. Will buy again!! 5Swedish Chef CostumeI love wearing this hat for my Swedish Chef Costume at Halloween. It's great and works better than a pillow case. Paired with a red bow tie and you have your favorite Gordan Ramsey colleague. 5Nonetheless I found the quality to be good. The stitching is sturdySome other buyers have complained that the hat is not exactly as pictured. They're not wrong - the band is shorter than it appears in the photo. Nonetheless I found the quality to be good. The stitching is sturdy. The fabric is of good quality, It has an adjustable Velcro closure. It's fine by me, but if you are looking for something to wear in a professional kitchen, you might want to spend more than five bucks. Just sayin'. 4Adjustable!Some of the cheaper chefs hats aren't adjustable, so this was the one I chose. Feels like great material and was comfortable to wear all night. Used it for a Swedish chef costume. 5Adjustable size, good qualityI ordered four of these for the four in my family who cook. I also got each person an apron. These hats are perfect. Basically, this is a fun Christmas add on for us. So, probably won't use them every day but our family loves to cook and I thought this would add some fun. The hats are well made, good quality, and there is velcro in the back to adjust the size. Our family has larger heads than most people so I tried one on when they arrived just to check fit. It had a wide range of adjustability which is perfect. It will fit my 10 year old, all the way up to my husband. Great find! 5this hat is very good qualityI ordered this for my oldest grandson who is 15 yrs. old and he has his goals all mapped out he will serve in the military and then go to culinary school to be a chef. so I thought this would be a good way to support his goals. He has always loved to cook and he is pretty good at it already. I examined the hat and it is very good quality and I think he will love it. I received this Hat in exchange for an honest review. 5
