    Sheer Back, Runs SmallWhile this leotard feels like it s of good quality, the sizing feels off. Large feels more like a medium. The front is double lined but the back is not which you can easily see in my pictures . The front while double lined still shows the slightest seam from anything worn underneath (I don t believe this would be solved by sizing up). The elastic around the arms and leg openings feel tight and cut in at very unflattering areas. I had hoped to use this for part of a costume but sadly I will be returning it... 2Great purchase at awesome price, definitely take measurements to be sure!Great leo, fits as expected (I took measurements beforehand) but make sure you visit Capezio site's size chart to make sure...girth (torso length, essentially) will play a bigger role than you think in how comfortable it is. Official leotards tend to run small.I ordered a SMALL and my measurements were:Chest: 33"Waist: 25"Hips: 32"Girth: 56"And though the size chart lists girth for "small" at 57-59", I found it to be a little snug...but again, this is for ballerinas, so...stuff's gotta be tight, haha.PLEASE NOTE: Color may not be what you expect. I ordered "ballet pink", and it was exactly that, but NOT the color you see in the description of the product here on Amazon (see photo below, in natural light). When in doubt, visit the official website to check.The only reason I give 4/5 stars is because the nylon blend material is not as comfortable as their cotton-based leos. The stitching can be a little annoying. There's no shelf bra, so I have to wear a thin nude fabric bra underneath, even though the white and pink leos have double lining in front (other colors dont). 4Instead of boring anyone with whyFirst I'm male, but I use this body suit on a daily basis. Instead of boring anyone with why, I'll just write the review.I'm 6'4" and bought the XL and though it stretches some, it fits me well and is comfortable enough. The material is thin, but not so that it is see through. It is also smooth to the touch. It is warm, but perspiration wicks through well and doesn't retain odor. The overall quality is very good and it works well for my purposes. After wearing this a few days a week for 9 to 12 hrs a day for the last few months, I can say that I am very happy with the purchase. I plan to get another. 5Just what we needed!This is just what we needed! I bought the small for my 13yo 100lb daughter and it was a little short because of her long torso, but we made it work because time was too tight to get the size up. It is a bit thicker than some of the dance leotards, and looked just like her skin tone. Its not too low in the back like some are (which we needed for wearing under a particular costume). It is very simple- not adjustable in any way. Much like a gymnastics leotard. She was pleased with it!ETA 10/8/15. Just bought another one of these and we are still in love. The tank styling is great - comfortable but not too low in the front or back. Daughter is now 105 lbs and about 5' 5" with a long torso and the women's medium fit nicely. 5Excellent Quality petite sporty teenMy 13 yr old daughter loves this leo! Substantial material -not too thin kind of thick, soft and very comfortable. Based on others comments, I ordered an adult size small. I'm not 100% sure of my girls exact height and weight - I do know she is a sporty build, between 96 lbs and 99 lbs.... she is not yet 5' tall. She wears a Big girls size 14 in almost every thing. *But being a smidge petite compared to her peers for this age / small torso - she can fit in some big girl size 12 shirts. A lot of adult sizes fit odd bcz of her small torso. ..her foot is a 6.5.I'm adding a couple of pictures for reference. She is not wearing a bra under the leo in the pictures...and at this point in her development she can get away with skipping a bra if she chooses. But, the cut of the Leo is great for the days that she chooses to wear a bra. The coverage on her bottom is full and excellent for acro dance class and team gymnastics. The size is generous for her growing spurts. Very happy with this seller and the purchase!I hope this helps you 5Good basic leotardThis is a very nice, basic leotard. I'm a beginner and didn't want to drop a lot of money on fancy-shmancy leos that I couldn't get my broad shoulders into anyway, and this feels and looks more like my old gymnastics leos, so there was a level of psychological comfort associated with that! I'm going to complain a little about this leo but not enough to knock off another star from the current rating for what it is: a reasonably-priced, functional and basic leotard.Pros:- Thick straps! Great for broad-shouldered ladies, provides more psychological security over spaghetti straps- Flattering fit, doesn't emphasize any negative areas for me (it doesn't hide them either, but I'll take the help I can get)- True to size guide fit based on your actual measurements, not on your regular clothing size (I'm 5'1" and a 2-4 in regular clothes, and the medium fits my measurements and me pretty much spot on)- Classic look, which looks great with the Capezio v-cut boy shorts- Top-notch quality- Great priceCons- I thought I would like the fabric more but I don't. The seams are a little itchy and this particular cut seems a little shorter than its cotton-based cousins, so it's not quite as comfortable on top of the shoulders when you first put it on. (While dancing, I don't feel like this is as much of an issue)- It is HOT to wear in a studio without adequate air conditioning and air flow.- The fabric dries quickly, but it also shows sweat very easily.- It says not to machine wash (con), but I do anyway and lay it out to dry. I don't have an agitator in my washing machine so I play fast and loose with some of those rules. Your mileage may vary.- Not necessarily a con, but a warning: the black does NOT include a liner or built-in shelf bra. The good thing about the thick straps is that they hide a spaghetti-strap sports bra or bralette! 4Thin fabric. Unlined: -1 star. Sized as expected. Ok for the price.It s good for Capezio and the price, but it IS NOT LINED! This Ballerina only wears lined leotards because modesty is not dead and wearing a sports bra under a leotard is not always comfortable. Will keep and use as a back up but prefer the other Capezio with a shelf bra and/or front lining. Wish they made these things with thicker, stretchy fabric for FULL COVERAGE! This fabric was too thin. Sized as expected. Would not buy again. 4Excellent basic leotard. Highly recommend! Order up.I'm 5'7", 130 lbs, 37" hips, 28" waist, 34D. Large fits perfectly, medium gives me extra butt cheeks, ha! Ok and comfortable with tights, though. Great fabric, non-chafing. I can wear a sports bra with this and it does not show. Beautiful, flattering leotard. My torso is slightly short for my height so someone with a long torso and my measurements or close, try extra-large. For me the short sleeve version is most flattering, but love this too. Highly recommend! 5LOVE it!The only things to look out for with this product are 1) the tag in the side (shouldn't be too much of a problem, but if you have major qualms against tags close to your skin, ya gotta figure something out), and 2) Pay attention to where the front is when you put it on! XD The leotard looks very similar on both sides, so you have to actually pay attention or you'll show up to dance class wondering why your leotard is so tight in the back.Otherwise, I love this thing, and the material feels like it can take a beating. 5Quick swimsuitI m going on a trip in June and needed an inexpensive swimsuit for an afternoon outing. I tried on regular swimsuits and they were all too tight, too expensive or cut for a younger body. This little number will work perfectly on my older body. I have back and underarm fat bulges and this leotard covers all of it and still looks sleek and fresh. It s silky smooth and there is no shelf bra in this model. I ll get in the shower with it just to be sure it will work when wet. With a pair of palazzo pants, I ll look great! For reference, I m 5 2 and 125 lbs. the large fit comfortably with no sagging. 5
