A great wading leash. The 20" bungee section takes just the right amount of force to make this a great wading leash. The bungee reduces the jerking of the kayak when attached to you while wading the shallows.

Works great, holds up and very good valueThese have been invaluable! Great peace of mind! We use them every time we paddle and never have to worry about losing an expensive paddle or getting stuck watching one float a way! We've had them for over a year and they show no wear. We go out about twice a month on rivers, lakes and even salt water. Great value!! 5Fish for dinnerGreat quality, great price. One can not have too many tethers when fishing from a kayak. Everything you purposely placed to be out of your way bringing in a fish, well let's just say you should have consulted with the fish before making that final choice. I prefer to be able to disregard everything I knock overboard and concentrate on the fish until they are in the net. (unless the net is one on the items deep sixed in the fight) I tend to eat more often that way. 5Great quality, doesn't loose shape, will use a long timeUpdate: 2 summer of extensive use on lakes, reservoirs and rivers they still have perfect shape and elasticity. I use them for attaching kayaks together, keeping paddles connected to my kids kayaks especially on the faster rivers, and dragging dry bags along behind our kayaks. Probably my favorite kayaking accessory we purchased.These were amazing. I used them to keep paddles attached to my little kids kayaks and also to tow my children around when they were tired on their kayaks. We used them to lash my kids to our adult kayaks through small Rapids down the Colorado River. With a caribiner attached to both ends my 4 year old was able to attach and detach himself with no problems after the first try. They went back to their original shape even after lots of towing this summer. I am so glad I purchased these and I know they will last us a long time. I purchased another bag of caribiners so I had more to connect to things, but the ones that came with this set are probably my favorites. 5Very Helpful and Easy to UseWe purchased a 3-pack to use for our Emotion 6.5 ft kayaks as well as an inflatable kayak. We use a carabiner to attach each leash to its kayak and that works well. We bought our own carabiners because we color-code items to help the kids keep track of their stuff. We have only used the leashes for one summer so far, but they haven't broken yet despite being pulled and dragged and water-logged across multiple trips in various temperatures, altitudes, and waters. For example, my youngest dragged his kayak across the grass and just let the paddle drag beside it. This put a lot of tension on the leash, but it handled it like a champ. We also haven't had to worry about drying the leashes out in a special way. We just dry them in the sun and wind and they've been fine. Again, this is only our first summer, but they've been used over many weeks already.I am very pleased with this purchase. I got these on a whim, as a just in case thing--very glad I did! 4If you need a paddle or rod leash... BUY THIS ONEMuch less expensive than other options and work as they should. You don't need the carabiner so that is a nice bonus.To give you an idea of the strength of these, my son got tired after a water gun war on a super windy lake and I had to tow him back. I attached the stern handle of my kayak to the bow handle of his and was able to tow him with no damage to the leash. 5All three leashes are identical.These are three heavy duty leashes. I somehow had the impression that the rod straps were lighter in weight. I would prefer a similar but lighter rod leash, but these will do. I hope so because they seem well made and it looks like they should probably last me the rest of my life. 4Great leashSaved a pole my first trip out! I' like teh length, not so long that they drag or get in the way and tangle easily but long enough you're not stretching them with every movement. The stretch is a great feature though, takes the shock out when you drop something or just need a little extra reach from where it's attached. I wish it came with 3 carabiners instead of just the one, you loop the strap on your rod/paddle but the other end then can;t loop through itself so you have to use a clip to attach it to itself after looping around something or to clip it to you. I don;t want everything coming back to a single point on me so I had to pick up a few extra carabiners to get more comfortable attachment points on everything but overall I like these. 5Great productLove these! I believe I have 15 of them. I used them on fishing poles, paddles, hook multiple kayaks together, tie kayak to dock and to pull kayak around. I like that the bungee is not exposed at all and the material incasing the bungee doesn't allow it to over stretch and brake. If the bungee would brake for some reason the material would still hold like a backup system. I use multiple sizes depending on the situation of Nite Ize S-Biner dual spring gate carabiners with them. I have a couple single spring ones but personally like the dual better. 5Durable, a great value, and made in the USA.These leashes are durable, flexible and tough. I use at least 6 of them every time I am on my kayak, and they saved all my gear the first time I went kayaking and flipped my kayak. These are inexpensive insurance for your very expensive gear. Great customer service and made in the USA. Highly recommended. 5Paddle leashesI'm not going to try to hang my kayak from this leash to see how strong it actually is, but it does the job! I have one clipped to my paddle and one to a water tight container with my valuables in it. I trust that if for some reason I dump the kayak or accidentally drop my paddle, I'll be able to easily retrieve them. 5
