Our Bell IV full mallet Side Saddle putter (390 grams head weight) side-saddle putter is 100% CNC milled from 303 Stainless Steel billets. It features a heel-toe-weighted full mallet putter design in a side-saddle (face-on) broom style putter. The side-saddle, often called a face-on putter, provides a putting stroke that helps with the Yips so common for older golfers. Originally made famous by Slammin Sam Snead, the USGA initially claimed the side-saddle putter gave golfers too much of an advantage. It was later declared a conforming putter and allowed for USGA tournaments. The mallet side saddle putter lie angle is upright and complies with USGA Guidelines to allow usage in USGA events. The side-saddle is often the answer for the senior player with back pain from practice putting with standard length putters.
