Arrived not finished from the assembly line- the two screws ...Arrived not finished from the assembly line- the two screws that were suppose to be holding the top together weren t there... the screw holes weren t even drilled on one side. The pump seemed flimsy and cheap even if it did work. Spent a few dollars more on something else. 1STUPID PRESTO VALVESJust bought this and was really mad for the first 15 min...STUPID PRESTO VALVES!!!!!! Tried and tried and like other reviewers was finding it almost impossible to pump, it was like there was a block and I couldn t get the pump all the way down, finally after about 5 min of that and literally putting my whole 180 lbs on the pump to get it down I readjusted how the connector was attached to the tire valve and BOOOOOM! I needed to push the connector down more to get further down onto the valve and then it was amazing! Smooth pumping all the way up and down, tire was pumped up in about 10 pumps! 4One of the best, near perfect pump!Purchased this to use it on my autocross events. I used to carry battery or corded pump to air up my car tires but this pump works better than any of 4 portable electric pumps that I have. Big dial pressure gauge is easy to read from the top as you pump. It gets every time as I pump this thing that how this hand pump works better than any of the electric pumps and is faster.Not giving a perfect score because the nozzle that attached to the valve stem is much larger than most if you have a tight space it will have clearance issue. I don't know how long this will last. I will update properly.UpdateSo, I have seated bead on two ATV tires on a bead lock rims by pumping yo 55psi and pumped 4 trailer tires from 45psi to 60psi.It is still working. Pressure gauge is pretty accurate. This is now on my car/trailer camping packing list. 4Air pump that meets various needs!I ve been using this air pump for last 3 months and it's a great pump for the price and my needs. I had bought a bike for my son, but did not pay much attention to buying an air pump. The air in the tire was not filled regularly. After 6 months, the tire got punctured and rest of the experience wasn t good. That s when I realized; buying an air pump would be very handy. So, my search of air pumps began. With so many options to go for, I wasn t easy for to decide which one to choose.I wanted something that works for my bike as well as basketballs, soccer balls, air rafts, sports equipment, pool floatation inflatables, air mattresses, etc. This air pump provides a bonus ball needle and inflation cone that is conveniently placed right on the nose and can be used to fill balls and air rafts. My bike has Schrader valves and air pump worked fine with it. The specification says it would work fine for Presta valves as well, but I do not have any bike to try if it actually works. Please note that this air pump does not work on balloons.The pump comes in two series - Air Attack, which are designed to inflate tires fast from their wide barrel design and Air Glider, which are designed for inflation of all types of bike tires from their tall, thin-barrel design. For me, it was bit difficult to know which one to choose and I went with Air Attach 450. This particular air pump does not come with an air gauge integrated with it, while some other series has it. I would recommend anyone to buy one with air gauge so filling the air to a certain pressure becomes easy, else one will have to press the tire manually while pumping and assess if the air is good enough.Note: Please press the helpful button if my review was useful to you. 5Works with Presta Valves!This pump does work with presta valves. You do NOT need an additional attachment. Read the instructions that came with the pump. You need to remove BOTH the plastic and rubber pieces on the nozzle, then flip them over and put them back in the pump. Wahla! Happy presta pumping! 4Does not work ; won't seal on shraeder valveSpecs say it's reversible, and will work with Presta-- this does not seem to be true.On Shraeder it does not even work.Into the trash bin with this one. 18 Months and runningThis is perfect for maintaining tire pressure in my Lexus and KIA Soul. Auto tires lose about 1 PSI per month, and even servicing at the dealer will leave you with underinflated tires. For one thing, even if the work order says to fill tires to X PSI, the tires are warm to hot when they service the car, and tire pressures specs are based on cold tires. Second, except for Lexus dealer service, which is deluxe (after all the only difference between a Lexus and a Toyota is the Lexus name, and being a pampered Lexus customer), I've never found air had been added to my tires during a regular service job.This high volume pump is perfect for the relatively low pressures used in passenger car tires; 30 to 40 PSI. You don't have to pump a jillion times to raise the PSI a few pounds--raising the PSI 2 to 4 pounds in my little imports requires anywhere from 5 to 20 pumps. A high pressure tire pump for 60 to 85 PSI bike tires would take twice as many pumps--much easier pumps, but twice as many.The build quality, of this plastic pump feels surprisingly good for under $15. It looks and works like brand new after 8 months--okay, two cars at once a month is only 64 tires, but still. 5High volume pump great for mountain bike tiresThis Bell pump feels quite solid and well built. There are clips at the top of the pump for storing the hose and a hanger attached to the back of the pump for hanging on the wall.It works very well for low pressure mountain bike tires. It took only 14 pumps to inflate a 26" mountain bike tire from completely flat (a new tube) to 30 psi. Pumping to that pressure was very easy. The gauge on the pump goes up to 100 psi, but I suspect pumping up to higher pressures would be difficult. This pump, with a large diameter cylinder, is designed for high volume, not high pressure. I'm not sure how accurate the gauge is. On one tire I was pumping up, the gauge showed around 20 psi, but when I checked with a different gauge, it showed 30 psi. I let out some air and tried again. This time the gauge on the pump showed 30, matching my other gauge. Maybe the gauge just needs to be broken in, but I will still be checking with a separate gauge to be sure.Many pumps that support both Presta and Schrader valves require you to disassemble and reassemble the connector to switch between valve types. This Bell pump allows you to connect to either type of valve by simply plugging the valve into the appropriate opening in the pump head.Overall, this is a great pump for low pressure tires. My only complaint is the accuracy of the gauge, but that might become better as the pump is used. 4Powerful but takes extra effortGood but not great pump. It takes more force to get the air into a bike tire than any other pump I have owned. It does the job, but I wonder why it takes so much more effort? Not worth returning so I'll try to look at it as some added exercise 3NO PRESTA ADAPTER. This pump will not work with ...NO PRESTA ADAPTER. This pump will not work with presta valves which are common in road and mountain bicycles. It stated it works with both. 1
