I love these thingsI love these things. My son is 7 months old and has light blue/grey eyes and his doctor said he needs sunglasses to protect them. He would pull off normal sunglasses, but after a little bit of fussing he leaves these alone and goes right to playing in the pool or taking a nap in the car since the sun isn't in his eyes. I will probably order a few more pairs to keep in the diaper bag or at his grandparents house because they are so useful! (not to mention he looks adorable in them!) 5Stay on good...almost "too good"Both mom and dad have different issues with our eyes, so we are especially careful when it comes to our son. Our 10 month old son is still having a hard time keeping his eyes open on sunny days, even in the car with tinted windows. I purchased these hoping to finally let him enjoy looking outside more often and the fresh air. Like most young children, he wasn't excited about having something wrapped around his head and cover his eyes and kept trying to pull them off...Until we went outside. He was finally able to look around! We still have yet to figure out which way works better for him (over his ears, or behind), but they both seem to be a little uncomfortable for him. After having them on for 15 min., he started pulling at them again. When he got them pushed up on his head, we noticed they left red ovals on his face (around his eyes). When you loosen them up a little bit they "sag" down his face a little bit. 3gotta have these!I bought these for my grandchildren. I am very proactive when it comes to protecting their young eyes. I love the choice of colors and they fit perfectly. The babies get excited when they see them come out of the drawer for they know it's time to go outside! They stay in place and teach the kids to wear eye protection from an early age. Even when they are riding in their rear facing carseats, I know they aren't staring into the sun no matter what direction I'm driving. What's more they grow as the kids grow. These should be on every baby registry! 5Leaves red marksThese are cute and my son doesn t seem to mind looking through them, but they don t fit well. I had the strap right enough that they wouldn t fall off but not too tight. He cried so I loosened them and there were red marks where the frame touched his face. It s a great concept but I don t think infants faces are structured for sunglasses that are the same shape as adult glasses. The bridge of their noses are too shallow to keep the frame from resting on there brow. 2Great product, very adjustable!I ordered these for my newborn because she didn't like the bright light - I've put them on her both for her comfort and to protect her eyes from harmful UV rays. She's 4 months old now, and I anticipate using these possibly until she's a year old - they are very adjustable. Great product, highly recommend! 5I gave 4 stars because the frame is stiff and I think something softer and bendable like MiraFlex frames will fit an infant betterBought these for my 2.5 month old son. The fit is a little big, but the adjustable strap helps keep them on. The lenses are dark and UV blocking which is a huge importance when wearing sunglasses. I have 15 years in the optical/optometry field and wanted something to help protect my little one's eyes when he is at the pool. I gave 4 stars because the frame is stiff and I think something softer and bendable like MiraFlex frames will fit an infant better. I'll be making my son some MiraFlex plano polarized UV blocking sunglasses, but the Baby Banz are great to have to throw in his bag for the sitter. These also did not come with a case or a storage bag to protect the lenses from getting scratches. 4Super Duper Cute! Prepare for Lots of Attention...I really do like this.Because they are a little large, I almost returned them, but they were just so cute on him that I decided to keep them. Plus, we had a vacation planned that involved a lot of time outside and even though he was under a canopy, he is a little light sensitive and I wanted him to be comfortable.The glasses were just barely able to fit comfortably and securely on his face. They are too big for a newborn. Our little guy is 4 months old and he has a pretty big head and the glasses were still almost too big. If his head was any smaller, they would surely have kept falling off.The band around the head is super soft, flexible, and comfortable. There is slight stretch but not so much that the fall off easily. They stayed on pretty securely.He seemed comfortable in them. He didn't dig or paw at them while wearing them.We got a LOT of attention when he was wearing them - especially from toddlers and young children that would tug on their mom's sleeve and say "Mom! Look at the baby in his little glasses!" while they excitedly pointed at our stroller. They are most definitely adorable.My only word of caution is that you should keep them either on or off. You can't put them up on your little ones brow (like you would your own sunglasses) or they will leave red marks where the bridge of the nose is. I discovered this when I pushed them up briefly when we were inside of a building. 4It does the jobI bought these glasses for my 1yo. We had previously tried a different model without the strap but they kept sliding on his nose and would only stay on with a hat/bennie.We do love this model a lot and more importantly, so does our baby who does not try to take them off and seems happy to wear it.The strap the ties it behind the head does slip and folds the top of his ears down but he doesn't seem to care. Maybe if it had something sticky in the back (like silicone or some other non-skid material) or a strap across the top (terrible aesthetics)... anyways, the point is, it's not perfect but it is as close to perfection as possible and I would recommend it and buy it again. 4Could be betterThese are very cute and we thought they'd be great for baby, but they didn't work very well. They're hard to get on and off since the band has to go over his head - it doesn't unlatch so that you could bring it around his head instead. Also, the adjustability is limited. There's really only once place to adjust size and it always seemed too loose and falling off of his face, or too tight. We ended up getting rid of them. 3Warning about velcro used in this productWhen I received these sunglasses I noticed the velcro strap appeared to be brittle and small pieces of plastic frayed off each time I opened/closed. My concern is the pieces flying off into baby's eyes. I contacted customer service, provided them details and photos and they did not get back to me. Baby BANZ and Baby Solo brands appeared to have the exact same issue, leading me to wonder if they are using the same distributor or manufacturer? 1
