Great Robe! But if you want Dark Purple - it is not!I am returning this robe due to color difference. As you'll see, the website shows a very dark purple color, in actuality, it is a medium purple, which I already own. (photo shows it next to a blanket I have which is the color the robe is portrayed to be). The robe is big and fluffy and a bit oversized. Pockets are big and deep, a good thing!, and I would have kept it and loved it if the color had been true to the pictures on this listing.4Poor qualityIt was so soft, and I thought I'd love it. BUT, even after washing, it's shedding everywhere, and the seams in the shoulders are rough and scratchy. I'm going to return it, though I think it's a pain to have to go through the trouble of returning something that should be thrown away!1You get what you pay forWhile this is indeed a lovely, plush, warm, comfy robe...and mine is true to color shown...this one is obviously a SECOND.For the price, I assumed this might be the case, but I would prefer to know that I am purchasing a "second in quality" item so that I can make the choice for myself. The description of this garment reads as if it is a first quality item.My issue is having a robe with completely different sleeve lengths. Not so much that the robe is unwearable, but enough to make me think twice about ordering other robes from this company for gifts. I may, or I may not.Just be aware when purchasing that you may be receiving less than stellar workmanship.4Great buy!I LOVE this robe. It is Very plush and soft, not thin, but not so overly thick that it's bulky. I ordered the Large xl size because, though I read where these run on the large side, I wanted it roomy so wearing it with pj's it's still roomy and envelopes me. It does! I'm 5'2" and the hemline ends just below my ankle bone - perfect for this winter keeping me warm! The waist has 2 loops on each side, one above the other, so the belt can be put thru whichever hits your waist. So glad I ordered this. No problem with loose fibers at all, and the color is so rich - would definitely order again.5Scratchy Uncomfortable SeamsThe bathrobe is soft and fluffy -- BUT the SEAMS are HORRIBLY SCRATCHY! The seams are bound with a plastic-like thread, on the shoulder and down the arms, which is very unpleasant. I have had to cover the seams with tape until I can take the time to sew a soft covering over them.It is really a shame -- and completely incomprehensible -- that such a soft and cosy robe should have such very uncomfortable seams. I'm very disappointed and would not recommend this robe to friends.2So soft and comfortable and is long enough to reach my ankles (& that s a BIG plus)!For many years, I had a bath robe that kinda felt like a worn bath towel and only reached a few inches below by knee, but I wore it anyway and just complained about it. I searched department stores off and on for about a year for a new robe that was longer, softer, and warmer, but I could only find shorter robes (maybe because I m 5 7 ). This robe (size L/XL) fit me great (other than being a little big around me) and the pink color is lovely. Plus it s soooo soft and comfortable and washes and dries well also. I just wish I hadn t waited so long to look for a new one. I m *very* satisfied with this robe and highly recommend it for anyone who s looking for a slightly longer, plush, soft, warm robe that also works well for covering up for naps. (I m even typing this review with it on )5Warm, and long.I'd been shopping for a long (I'm 6" tall and slim) warm robe - anticipating a long cold winter. This is perfect for me. I ordered a L/XL, usually I would order a M or S, but I wanted it to wrap around me from side to side. It's plush, fuzzy, warm, LONG, and the color is exactly the same as it looked on my computer. I've washed it once, it is very linty, etc. But that's to be expected of any plush item. I know a few more washings ant that will be solved. The fabric is very warm, some might say heavy, but for me it's exactly what I was after. I can snuggle in and read on a cold evening and even my feet will be covered. It was delivered in a timely manner, ordered on Wed the 13th, it arrived on Mon the 18th.5Perfect RobeAbsolutely gorgeous robe! I ordered the purple one and a deep beautiful color. I'm 5'10", 150 lb, and S/M was perfect size. The length was nice and long too. Very soft and cuddly and I haven't noticed any problems with the seams being itchy. I did, however, need to snip the tag off at the collar since that was a bit scratchy. Great purchase and hope it lasts many years.5Good quality but Unrealistic sizingThe quality is excellent and the fleece is indeed heavyweight. Think heavy Polartec. It washes well, no pilling or shrinkage. But it is HUGE. Had they offered this in a small (at least) instead of S/M or L/EX-LGE, I would have rated it higher. There is enough fabric on this robe to fit 2 of me inside. The belt is thick and wide with double belt loops so if you are shorter or longer in the waist, you can readily adjust for this, but if you are small like me, you will look like the Michelin tire baby weighing around 300 pounds. I took the belt loops off and stitched Velcro down the inside of the front packets and just wear it as a sort of really loose caftan type coat. It's still big but doesn't look near as ridiculous. The length is good for me. I'm 5'5" tall with long legs and it reaches my ankles.Overall, it's well-made, high quality heavy fleece but like most of their sleepwear, this is yet another item that isn't consumer friendly in terms of their sizing. Two stars off for them not recognizing that one size, nor even two sizes, fit all. And it's not an inexpensive robe, so you may want to look at another manufacturer if your small like me. (I wear 0's and 2's depending on manufacturer.) If you normally wear a Large (12-14), this WILL fit you.3Pay attention to their sizing chartVery soft and cuddly, thick and fairly heavy. Can be too heavy if your house is not quite cool. I should have paid more attention to the sizing,- I guess I just ordered based on my normal size plus a little larger to be comfortable. I didn't think a L/XL would be big enough, but the next size, a 1X/2X is VERY large on me. The arms are quite long (I'm 5'8" and don't normally have that problem) - this seemed more like a "tall" version for both the arm length and belt placement. I can roll the sleeves up to make a 3"cuff, but they won't stay that way, so will probably end up sewing them to keep them in place. The pockets are quite large, as advertised; my fingertips just barely touch the bottom of the pockets. There is an inside tie that will hold the robe in place if the outside belt comes loose for some reason, which is a nice feature. My counsel would be to pay attention to THEIR sizing chart - not necessarily what you're used to. For the record, I did not try to return the robe because of the hassle to repackage after I'd thrown the box away, but from what their ad says, they probably would have replaced it with a smaller size if I had asked.4
