- Protects your outboard motor. The purpose of Hydraulic Steering Locks is to secure your outboard motor while trailering. These locks prevent rocking or movement of the motor during transportation. Designed to fit in 4" gaps on either side of the hydraulic steering cylinder, they ensure the motor stays centered and protect the steering system, outboard, and motor supports
- Quick setup and removal. The locks are made from synthetic materials that are both temperature-stable and UV-resistant. They are easy to install and remove, with a large grip hold for convenience. each set includes two locks with a cord and carry bag for storage. The included connecting cord helps with organization and storage of the steering lock
- Great compatibility. The hydraulic steering locks are perfectly compatible with most steering cylinder rods on outboard engines. They work best with 3/4" diameter steering shafts but can also fit 20mm diameter shafts.
