This tough design is built right in. The larger diameter allows for an extremely tight tie but will not pinch the instep. The weave design and Kevlar stitching keeps the laces tied better than older laces. Todays Kevlar reinforced laces are suitable for all footwear.
These laces are truly high quality Made in the USA laces designed and manufactured from USA yarns with USA labor. Available in all colors that will not fade when washed, nor bleed on your shoes or boots.
Engineered to remain tied but will always untie when pulled
Proper length is critical. No shoelace will last long or remain tied for long if stepped on all day. The best way to get the proper length is to remove the old laces and measure your current laces from tip to tip without stretch.
Kevlar reinforced laces are the perfect replacement laces for all working shoes or boots.

Excellent shoelaces for work shoesThese 45" shoelaces are just the right size with five pairs of eyelets on work shoes. They are heavier than the laces that came on the work shoes and stay tied better. They are not waxed so they do not slide. Since they come in a package of two sets of laces, I now have a spare for when these wear out. I am completely satisfied with these laces.5There are disappointingI got this product based on a family recommendation. I saw it was kevlar enforced and made for work boots, which is exactly what I have. I got these on December 7 and installed them that week and had one of them snap after 3 months. I would not recommend these as they don't live up to the expectation of a bullet proof shoe laces.1Tougher than any other lace I've used!My boots have metal hooks for lacing them up. The laces that came with the boots were cut by the edges of the hooks in the matter of a week. I purchased some leather laces hoping to find greater durability. Within the fourth lacing one of the laces was cut right in have, once again by the sharp edges of the hooks. I found this product and hoped that the Kevlar reinforcement would actually provide some significant durability, so I ordered them. I've been using them for months, lacing my boots the same as before, and there isn't even splitting on the outside strands of these laces. I might as well by lacing my boots with more flexible wire; they're certainly heavy-duty.You also get two pairs of laces with this product, so I expect that I won't need laces for quite a while.5Fantastic Shoe Laces for Tough UsageThese were fantastic shoe laces. I do a lot of hiking and my shoes go through a lot of beating in the process. I've had shoe laces break during hikes or while tightening them. I switched to Kevlar and have not had snapping but typically the stiffness makes them difficult to tie or stay tied. These work amazingly well as an in between. Not to stiff as not to tie, not weak enough to snap from over tightening. Burs will get caught in these just like cotton ones. The hold up well. I ordered the 54in for my 8 eyelet boots (Docs) and a second pair for my Salomons Hiking Boots. I will reorder and I keep a few spares (one in the car, one at home) for emergencies. They wash and dry easily.5Great tough laces, buy with confidence!Tough as nails, I waited to write this review as I had replaced the laces on my boots more than once, the speed laces on them eat shoelaces. I wanted to give it enough time to see if they were going to hold up, and they are. Great laces, when the next pair on my other boots go, I will be buying more of this kind.5GREAT QUALITY, HOLDS THE TIE!These laces are awesome! I work at the Starbucks Roasting and Distribution Center and slapped these on my work boots. The original laces that came with my Red Wings weren't that great and wouldn't hold their tie, they would always come loose. These laces don't budge at all, stay tight all day! Plus the thickness to them looks great... good quality, came with 2 pairs. In my photo you can see how they look on my pair of Red Wings all the way to the left.5These Are Still Too Thick For My Lowa Hiking BootsThe ends are small enough to pass through the eyes, however, the laces themselves are too thick to go into the quick lace eyelets, opening. This is getting tiresome trying to find laces that are the right length, and diameter to work in our heavy duty hiking boots. Unfortunately, these are going to have to be returned, This is getting old. I really hate having to return stuff, especially something as simple as a pair of bootlaces. I live in a small town and only have Walmart as a source, and they don't have much.3I have them on two pairs of Original SWAT boots 9" Original SWAT Boots and 9" metro Boots they both have side zippers but theseA little large but not too large to use. But other laces do not seem to be as good as these.I'm even going to get some for my motorcycle riding boots.4Look carefully, they're not solid black...Read carefully and look carefully at the picture... They are "black w/black Kevlar" - They laces have a "candy stripe" of a shinier bluish tint on them, presumably the Kevlar, thus they are not solid black, which I didn't care for much. While you can see it in the picture, if you look closely, it's actually much more apparent in person.Also worthy of mentioning that they are quite stretchy. If you're buying them for D-rings or webbing type lace-up that's possibly a good thing, but not great for traditional eyelets IMO.They are nice laces, though they did not meet the requirements for my intended use.4End of laces too thick.I bought these laces over again because the old ones wore out. They did not really last much longer than regular laces but the inner kevlar core held up when the outer sheath failed. Since they did not break completely I bought these new replacement of the exact same version.The real problem I have is that the end of the laces are so thick they do not fit easily through the eyelets. One of the metal eyelets for each lace end of each shoe, 4 in total, would not fit. To try and make the end of the lace fit in the metal hole would break the ends. Consequently I bought longer than needed laces to make room for a wide foot only to have way too long laces that need to be triple tied to keep from stepping on when walking.4
